A really lovely restaurant with a warm welcome and a great menu. The food was spot on, the service attentive and the chef even came out to see if we'd enjoyed it. The one restaurant in Salta that we have been to that I would truly recommend.

After all the meat we had been eating in BA and Puerto Iguazu, this place had the ideal selection of chicken, pasta and vegetarian dishes to offer some variation. Located a couple of blocks away from the main square in a rather quiet area, this really looks like an upscale restaurant from the outside of the building. Food and service... More

Argentina is a country full of great food and our meal at this restaurant was one of the best. It's a small restaurant, with a small menu (the waiter was nice enough to translate it for us-excellent service). We enjoyed three excellent courses and also chatted with the chef, who was very friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here if... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely meal at Ma Cuisine. It is small and intimate and the staff are charming. We didn`t have starters and went straight to main courses. All were excellent. Just one vegetarian option (carrot and cheese souffle) but it was not a tokenistic veggie option by any means. Teamed with the excellent dauphinoise potatoes and... More

We went there for dinner and really liked it. I had the most tender of all steaks I had in Argentina there with an amazing sauce of reduced red wine and a really good gratin on the side. It's a small restaurant, but it has a nice feeling to it - personally, I also really appreciated the choice of music... More

We decided to try ma cuisine after we read reviews in tripadvisor and it was total pleasure for all of. Menu is small, you have only couple of dishes to choose but every single of them is delicious. We were four and each of us chose different dishes and we all were highly satisified. The chef himself is very attentive.... More

We took a long walk from our hotel in order to eat here. It was so good we took the same long walk the next night. In common with most restaurants in Salta, they open late at 20.00. The streets of Salta are perfectly safe for walking at night, though you could always take a taxi. The menu is on... More

I was in Salta for 5 days and ate here twice. For some reason the overwhelmingly good reviews seemed suspicious to me - could a little French-Argentine place in Salta really be that good? Well, it is. I've eaten a LOT of steak in Argentina, mostly in Buenos Aires, and I have to say that the lomo at Ma Cuisine... More

The chef and owner spent many years in Europe, and he apparently brought with him some experiences and flavours! The service was very good and kind, and the chef himself came out at some point to personally ask us how it was and wish us well. I only had a hard time eating my trout, which was full of tiny... We spent two weeks travelling in Argentina and were somewhat disappointed by the food we got. However, in Salta, we thought we had come to paradise: Roberto and Pedro made our tastebuds go crazy with a lovely and incredibly tasty greeting from the kitchen to start with, followed by the choice of our starters, mains and deserts. The wine Pedro... More
