A very special dinner

Ma cuisine is a small restaurant in Salta that's worth a visit. You have to book in advance 'cause there are a few tables. We saw many people walking in looking for a place to eat and sadly sent off. Chef Roberto lived in Europe for many years before opening his own place in Salta. And boy, he... read more

A very small and private place to eat that is only open between 2000-2400. Everything on the menu is great and at a great price. Make sure you call for a reservation as the place is likely full every night.

I went with my family and had a nice dinning experience. The place turned out to be the house where my mom grew up in, and we were actually dinning where it used to be my grandmas bedroom. So that was interesting :) The service was quite good, it appears to be a family owned restaurant where the owner takes... More

We ate dinner at Ma Cuisine 3 times during our 3 week stay in Salta, because of the delicious food, the intimate venue & the incredibly welcoming owner, Roberto! It's only about a 10 minute walk from the main Plaza de 9 de Julio & it feels safe waking around the streets of Salta at night. The restaurant itself is... More

Out of the way spot in Salta. We went a little early for dining in Salta and had the restaurant to ourselves. Somewhat French food was on the menu board (actual blackboards on the wall in three languages. Our meals were good and the wine was decent. Service was OK. People were starting to come in as we finished. Would... More

Steak and red wine - delicious. All the steak we've eaten in Argentina has been tasty, but this one in particular was mouth-wateringly good as it came as expected level-of-cooked wise (elsewhere have found a tendency to cook slightly longer than expected).

There was a wide variety of food, and it all seemed to be delicious. It was hard to decide. It took a long time (a little more than 30 minutes) for the food to be prepared, even though we all (6) ordered pretty simple and similar salads, and the two other parties in the restaurant had recieved their food when... The chef plays the role of fantastic host serving a packed restaurant and passionate chef very well. Food is good sized portions with careful attention to detail. The only reason we don't score 5/5 is that the service is rather slow however considering the chef seemed to do all the work we can't be too cross. To employ one more... More

Truly a gem of a restaurant! The charming and personable chef de cuisine Roberto Boujon works hard (and in multiple languages!) to make sure his guests, both locals and tourists, are well taken care of. Everything we had was delicious and very well-prepated, from meat to fish, the latter a very pleasant surprise in this otherwise meat-dominated corner of the... More

What a cute, little, friendly restaurant. Even though I was sick (which had nothing to do with the restaurant), I had an amazing experience. It made me feel a little bit better :).
