Starving and walking around the square we found this restaurant. I ordered pizza and a capresse salad, my husband ordered a chicken salad. We both were very happy with our meals. I would like to return and order the chicken salad myself it looked so good. A nice change from steak!

There a few ones scattered all over Salta. The one I visited in on the Vicente Lopes street. Installed in a century-old house, the cafe preserves most of the old ambiance. Besides, oodles of old memorabilia and gadgets adorn the walls and create a pleasant, funny and curious atmosphere. The place is large and accommodates many tables in two different,... More

It looks quite cosy, more like a pub, until you get the menu and everything is about 20-30% more expensive than in (decent) restaurants. The menu is a bit different though. Less like a steak-house-style than normally in Argentina. The food was of great quality, because the wine was so much more expensive than (the same wine) in almost all... More

Atmosphere of the decor, the music, smiling waiter, simple but tasty menu options make this restaurant a great find. Have only been there for lunch, but since it is a 5 minute walk from my hotel I am sure I will go back to try the diner menu!

We found this quite near to our hotel, great ambience, good food and nice music. My husbands roast beef sandwich was raved over, daughter had a delicious prosciutto sandwich and I chose the dish of the day - oven baked ravioli with wilted greens which was a bit average. The jugos made with lemon and mint was sensational. Service was... More

The tap beer was cold enough which you can't take for granted in Argentina. I tried the tacos as an appetizer just to see if the hot sauce is hot. Yep! The Llama stuffed ravioles were topped with a real homemade lamb jus. Creative. The house red, Miralvna, is from a small local bodega. I'll come back.

My wife and I have dined at this café several times during our month-long stay in Salta. There are actually two locations, one on Paseo Balcarce and the other on Paseo Guemes. We have been eating at the latter, which is closer to downtown and open all day (except Sunday). The former is close to the famous "penas" of Salta... More

This very popular place is more than a café! There is always a fantastic ambiance, lots of locals, great jazzy music on weekends but most of all, great food! We had the lomo del tiempo, delicious de la casa twice, it was perfect. The meat is great, prepared as you ask for ( we like the meat red, wich is not the... More
