Old-world style dining room that served good quality food (I had the sirloin steak) and some great malbecs from the region. The "pena" is the real attraction and goes for around 2 hours starting at 10:30pm. 4 male and 4 female dancers opened the show with some really energetic group and duo choreography to backing tracks. Then the traditional band... More

The variety of music and dance was very good. Crowd was good as well. Lots of tourists, but mostly Argentinian. We did not eat here, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked very good. Great place to grab a drink and watch a show.

We wanted to go to a Pena that wasn't totally folk music and this ticked all the boxes. A fabulous singer, interspersed with folkloric dances and music. The atmosphere was more local and the tourists were also mainly from Argentina. We had a great meal and the waiters were superb and very attentive.

If I am not mistaken, La Vieja Estacion houses an extraordinary Artesans Market full of hand made traditional and modern items at reasonable prices. The building is very attractive with its interior gardens and patios and it is well kept. A good place to shop.

There are lots of places to choose from along this strip, so pick one and enjoy yourself. We had an enjoyable dinner & show at La Vie Estacion. From the reviews I had read online I wasn't expecting much in terms of the meal, but I found it surprising good. There is no fee for the show if you are... More

If you stay in Salta, you dont have to stay in your hotel at night. This city has many to offer when it comes to nightlife experience. Balcarce is the nightclub and bar district of the city, very well secured by the police. Let's face it, it's hard to pick a bar in this street when you're a tourist and... More

We had a very nice evening in this club. The show is made rather for tourists, but was very good, especially the dancers. We had also dinner with a surprisingly good stake.

Lovely place with a fun atmosphere. Service was good, food excellent, house wine lovely and the show thoroughly enjoyable. Obviously it is a little touristy but not in a way that makes you cringe. Most tourists seemed to be from Argentina and were singing along. All up makes for a fun night.

It has been a nice experience in this city, I was there for bussiness, but I got surprise, We went to have dinner there, nice show, specially if you are looking to see the local music and local dance with gauchos. They really put a nice show. The restaurant is ok, good Bife de Chorizo, the local wine was excellent,... More

the pumpkin bowl was nearly inedible. ravioli like dish was tolerable but still not tasty. only reason i left with positive impression was because of the pena show. great dance and music performances. highlight was getting pulled up as a volunteer to "dance" with the performers. i'm sure they cringed at the way i butchered their art form, but i...
