We had dinner at La Monumental, which was recommended by Sheraton Hotel. Food is really nice and fresh. But the dishes are huge and can easily be shared by two. Service was nice and they have a huge variety on the menu, which is great for larger groups.

Good traditional Argentine food and service. Our family ordered meat and chicken and were extremely happy with the service and food. Most food is cooked on a barbecue (Parilla) and the tastes are absolutely yummy. Good place to eat in or get delivered to your hotel / apartment.

I tried the bife de chorizo here, as I had heard good things, and it did not disappoint! It was red (cold/lukewarm inside), juicy, and massive! Definitely one of the best I've had! The red housewine was less than €3 per liter (!) so needless to say we enjoyed quite a few glasses of that as well. All in all... More

Nice setting, excellent food. Service was okay - but the location and the food were excellent. Take the local recommendations on food and wine and you cant go wrong.

We were accompanied by our Argentine friend who is ever polite and understanding. But Jose the waiter was just a jerk. Would not bring a piece of lime because it is "so expensive". Then only cheese for steak was Swiss when menu says Roquefort, (there was Roquefort) then he said no credit cards accepted. Walked back to hotel for pesos...... More

There are two of these restaurants, diagonally across from each other. The one at the sports stadium seems to open a little earlier than its sister restaurant, so that was the one I went to. Had the picana, which was big and juicy (as ordered). Unfortunately, it was ruined by too much salt in the seasoning, so much that I... More

The best meat in town. If you go to Salta do not miss this place. A restaurant highly appreciated by the locals for its food and prices.

This is a great place to go if you want to get an authentic experience of Argentine barbeque. Its casual and filled with locals, you won't regret it.

We arrived around 20:15, the restaurant was empty save us, we would't have entered but the nice waiter invited us in. We had a very good beef from the grill with fresh salad and home made fries and a nice wine from salta. The waiter was friendly and profesional, the setting was a simple, traditional decor in an old colonial... More

We decided to eat early due to an early start time for the next day's trip to Humahuaca. It was mid-week, so we figured reservations weren't necessary. Having duly consulted Tripadvisor, we headed out. We tried Candelaria at 8:10, but it wasn't yet open--a nice man came to the door and explained to us that the parrilla wouldn't be hot... More
