This place was packed! Attracted by the live, local music we enjoyed a good local food experience. They packed too many tables in though, meaning it was very tight moving around. Food was good and service was quick. We liked the selection of regional food and particularly enjoyed the llama empanadas and the quinoa stew.

My Boyfriend and I had a Stew and a Locro. The Locro was average-not good not bad, but you get better and a lot cheaper ones in the small street restaurants. The potato/quinoa/meat stew had a little weird taste and was below average. My boyfriend was sick with vomitting and diarrhea 5 hours later (and we hadn t eaten anything... More

We liked this place so much we ate there twice, just so we could try more of the menu! Locro, meat empanadas, quinoa empanadas and the tamales were the best - authentic and homey. Service was always with a smile and loved reading visitors' messages from around the world covered very inch of the restaurant's walls.

When we ate at this place, there was live Andean music which was pretty entertaining for a foreigner. Between the songs, they make many jokes and they talk to the guests but that's all in Spanish. The place was full and people were cheering and having fun. The food was also good. This must be a typical place to experience... More

We had a nice dinner of salad, round tamale, stewed llama, and bread pudding. The bread pudding was quite dense, but everything else was very nice. The 3 piece Andean music band was excellent, performing a range of traditional selections. All the instruments were brilliantly played. The vocals were slightly coarse. We would have preferred the amplified sound to be... More

This place is aimed at tourists. That is the bottom line and we accepted that before entering. Live music was indeed good (albeit so loud you could not hear yourself think) but the food was very poor. All our food was delivered within 10mins of ordering even though it was busy. Oh no! My mash potatoes were still cold and... More

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on a Friday. We arrived at around 19.55 and there were quite a lot of free tables. Five minutes later the place was packed (right up until we left at 22.30) and there were people waiting outside also. There is live music on everyday and from what we saw and heard I would... More
