Great meal !

We had dinner in this restaurant. It is the same friendly staff as in the posada of the same name. If you like corn, definitely try the humitas which are sort of steamed corn cake. We also tried the llama steak with mushroom sauce and risotto; the sauce and risotto are super tasty! It is... read more

We visited this restaurant for lunch based on a recommendation. Empanadas as a starter, then llama steak in a delicious mushroom sauce with quinoa risotto. The best meal we had in five weeks in Argentina and Chile, and we had some fine meals in that time. Great restaurant highly recommended.

Just come back from a fabulous lunch in this little restaurant just off the main square in Tilcara. It was recommended to us by the owner of one of the shops and we weren't disappointed. I had a really tasty Calabaza soup whilst my husband had grilled goats cheese with 'Andean' potatoes. Delicious. Highly recommended.

On our way to the mountains we had the most wonderful dinner close to the center of Tilcara. We knew there was this great restaurant called Yacon as we learned from the internet. The place is very nice indeed, made of local, traditional materials and the service was excellent. We had amazing llama stake and mushroom sauce with quinoa risotto... More

After a marvellous hike through the colored mountains we wanted a nice and quiet place, so decided to avoid touristy crowded Humahuaca with the tour buses. Our driver-guide recommended this place and it was just what we wanted. The place is tranquil, a nice interior, friendly and attentive service and great food - a real find in this touristy place.

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the hotel we were at. He said no one else would be in the restaurant, but don't worry the food is good. He was totally correct! The interior decor was comfortable, the owner-waiter attentive and very pleasant and the steak and pasta dishes all excellent. We ate at the other restaurant the... More

We got to Tilcara about 13:30, in a wonderful sunny day. We was running away from the crowd in Humahuaca where most of the restaurants were full and rushing to get a place. We decided to take it easy and make the lunch to be a pleasure instead of just the need to get satisfied. Yacon, as always was not... More

Service is very good. Chef / attendant super friendly. Very nice ambience. Not very easy to find location - but is worth looking for it! I had the best pesto pasta ever! Soup and empanadas were also good. It accepts visa too!
