Took my family their eat dinner and enjoyed it overall. The prices are very affordable, the portions are hefty ( I eat a lot), beer prices are competitive but the do not have many draft choices.

I have eaten at this Macayo's since 1985 and have always found the food, service, and atmosphere to be very good. I like to sit on patio overlooking the "lake" that meanders through Dobson Ranch. My personal favorites are the shredded beef tacos and the chile rellanos.

This was the second time that we had been to this restaurant in the past month. We were pleasantly surprised the first time that we went. The wait staff was excellent and the Chimichangas were delicious. We love the fact that it was on the man made lake, it made for a beautiful atmosphere. It was about 102 degrees at... More

We went here with a big family group. We found the food mediocre . the taco was dried out, although the filling ok. enchilada average and bland. the tortilla soup was ok. they do have a vegetarian and gluten free menu, but those eating from it felt it was all mediocre. Vegetable fajitas were hunks of zucchini, etc. without any... More

Went there after the dinner rush and had an excellent meal. Our server was on top of things, fixed a miscue on one meal ordered. I had a chimi with huge thick pieces of pork that was moist and spicy. The food is basic Mexican food and didn't disappoint.

Not somewhere I would choose to go back to. The building looked really cool, but the food was not good. The Margarita's had this really funny aftertaste, the salsa was one of the worst I've had, and the chips and guac were not very good either. Skip this place.

Left the Tempe/Mesa area a little over 15 years ago and Macayo had always been an old favorite. Had the chance to return last week with 6 other adults. Food was good, everybody satisfied. Dinner, drinks & tip under $18 per person!

The service was great and the food very tasty. They have a good gluten free menu as well for those who are gluten intolerant. Very friendly and efficient waiters and waitresses. Ideal for lunch before attending spring training games...extremely close to the stadium!
