Went with my husband and we got the wrong order. Manager named "lorenzo" gave us the cold shoulder and told us if we were trying to get a free meal we were in the wrong restaurant and went to try to fix our food but gave it to us in the exact same way that we had given it to... More

I recently spent a few days in Mesa attending a conference. The place was recommended by our host so I decided to eat there the first night I got into town. I liked it well enough to go back 2 nights later when my wife arrived. The chips and salsa to start with were excellent. The food was wonderful, but... More

This is advertised as Mexico City Mexican food -- different than most of the Mexican food restaurants. And it definitely was. The service was excellent -- waiter was always right there with what we needed. When he saw we had a coupon, he even brought a scissors and cut out the coupon we wanted to use for us. The usual... The place looks ok, the food appears ok, but is terribly bland. For that, the prices are rather high. There are definitely better places in town.

La Parilla Suiza food is mediocre at best, and the prices are a bit higher than Arizonans expect to pay for ordinary Mexican food. The one way to get a good deal is to go for lunch and order from the limited lunch specials. I don't eat meat, so there was only one choice for me; a bland veggie burrito.... More

The food here was pretty good. The service was so-so. We were placed near the back, and nobody came to check on us often. I would recommend this place though.

Ameircanized Mexican food in over-blown Mexican atmospher. I've eaten many times at la Parrila Suiza in Mexico City's Polanco neighborhood -- this Mesa store is not the real deal. It is a disappointment, just more of the same Americanized hype of what the owners think we should like about Mexico. They are wrong.

My friend brought me here and I tried the Parrillada de Pollo. It was the most delicious chicken dish every. Diced chicken mixed with bacon, onions and peppers. Normally, I would have eaten about half and taken the rest back home (my friends' house), but my mouth forced me to eat the whole thing. I can't believe how good it... More
