Ok, so if you like Salmon... They have the best grilled salmon around! It has a delicious honey butter glaze with mango salsa and rice. Definately recommend it. Their salsas aren't the traditional Mexican restaurant salsas but they are yummy. I haven't tried many more things on the menu because everytime I go there it's for the salmon, but my... More

My wife and I eat here often and go out of our way to do it. Now they have locations in Mesa and Gilbert. It has always been owned by the same family. Ask about their secret passages at the Mesa location. We especially recommend: "The Flying Saucer". "Plato de Chimichanga I always judge mex. food by their chimi;best I... More

My parents had frequented the restaurant on McKellips Road and were disappointed to hear that it was no longer open. We convinced them to try the one on Higley and enjoyed it immensely. Fast, friendly service and tasty dishes. Be sure to try the "green" salsa; sweet, with fresh cilantro. We will be returning.

We chose to eat outside, so we were seated immediately. Heaters keep the chill off. Food was quite good, chips very light and hot. Wait staff attentive, even though seating was sparse outside. Carne Asada very flavorful, a welcome change from typical "Mexican"! Drinks were reasonable.

We went to the restaurant on Higley & Guadalupe. We got our table faster than they predicted, which was nice! Chips were on the table and still warm-the sweet green sauce was very good. Our server had our drinks promptly, and he came back to take our order when he said he would-he was great. I've never been to a... More

One of our favorite spots in mesa AZ is now closed permanently. It was a wonderful building and the food was consistently good. We tried the Gilbert location but it wasn't the same. We will miss this great spot

We were very sad to hear the restaurant closed on McKellips Road but are happy to hear a new one will be opening on Brown Road very soon. They did a great job on making my son's wedding rehearsal dinner such a huge success. Great food and atmosphere.

Unfortunately, one of the restaurants closed recently but the other on Higley Roads and Guadalupe is still here and just as beautiful and authentic as the first. You'd think you were in Mexico City or Acapulco - colorful Mexican memoribilia all around, very nice Mexican music and, of course, the food is quite good and huge portions and their margaritas... I did not eat here but gave it a "Poor" rating because the management should have taken down this trip advisor post or made some edits. Made the mistake of calling the phone number listed and NOT clarifying if they were really closed. I'm not from the area and should have inquired about the earlier review about it being "For... I have heard that Tia Rosa on McKellips in Mesa is closed down and for sale. Is this true? I have had many good meals in the restaurant side of the business. I never really cared for the Taqueria. Too noisy and rude and the food really doesn't taste like it has the same quality.
