Quality Traditional Fare

There is a lot of history at this place. Upon entering, one can walk downstairs to the restrooms and a great vintage photo gallery or upstairs to the dining facilities. Even with reservations, expect to wait ten minutes or more, and wait equally for billing. Four of us dined here recently, my... read more

The building is quite nice and historic. Prices seemed fair until we received our food.quality of the meat and size of thee portion was terrible. Steak was entirely too thin to be cooked properly. No flavor and thin. Oh, salad was good. Wouldn't go back.

While many restaurants can boast of having a salad bar, not many can say they have a salad room. My wife and I just recently discovered this beautiful restaurant. It is housed in a former Mormon church built in 1908, and has been in operation as the Landmark since 1981. Of special note....this is one of the cleanest restaurants we... More

I'm a little disappointed with this restaurant. My husband and I actually held our wedding here 9 years ago. The food was absolutely wonderful, and every single one of our guests told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We have returned several times over the years, the food has been good, but not... More

The building was an old Mormon meeting hall and has been converted to a restaurant. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing and elegant. The salad room (not bar) was very impressive. We enjoyed our lunch very much and saved room for bread pudding. Be aware - one order of bread pudding and ice cream will be enough for 4 people.

We are going on a Desert Belle boat trip with 20 people and I plan to take them all to the Landmark (one of our most fav places). Noone in the group has been before, I am excited to hear their feedback. Will update.

We had our pre-wedding dinner here 31 years ago. Stopped in again while in town. Great place, good food, historic site. Add it to your list of places to have lunch or dinner.

On a recent visit to Spring Training, our friends suggested we try The Landmark Restaurant in Mesa. The structure is a former church that had been converted into a folksy restaurant. I was told there were historical photos of the area along the walls in the lower level. By choosing not to traverse the stairs again we did not see... More

This restaurant is located in an old church. There are a variety of rooms available for special events. The main dining room is quaint. The salad bar is amazing. Along with stuff to make a garden salad there are soups, pasta salads, dessert, meatballs, chicken etc. You can make this an entire meal. You can also split an entree which... More
