Late lunch was the best time for us to eat there. Pork was delicious along with sweet potato options. I loved their Bbq sauce, it is the best.

A great BBQ place tucked in the corner of a small strip mall on Main St. Mesa,AZ. Great ribs and you can split an order and the two sides (a good idea unless your appetite is huge).

some of the best BBQ ever and you get way to much to eat in one sitting. We had enough to make two additional meals out of the leftovers and it seemed to get better the longer it sat.

I am not a huge fan of BBQ but Waldo's was AMAZING. My favorite was the pulled pork and the pork ribs. Their BBQ sauce is excellent and I bought a jar to bring home. The side dishes (cole slaw and potato salad) were good but the highlight was definitely the pork. The meat is high quality and the blend... More

Went there tonight with my family. It was quite busy when we arrived at approx 6:45pm but the place became quieter later on. Food took some time to arrive but was very tasty. My super sampler of 3 different meats and 1/4 rack of ribs was good but not that hot. I think it had been standing on the counter... More

We have been coming to Mesa for 3 years now and this fantastic spot is right around the corner, but never stopped in before. Decided to try it out and we are glad we did. My husband ordered the catfish, and I had a sampler plate to get a taste of the place. His fish was fried perfectly and he... More

Full disclaimer: I am from Vancouver, and as such am not a barbecue authority. You want to talk sushi or seafood or salads, we can do that, but barbecue is a rare treat for me. What I do know is good food and service, and Waldo's has good food and service. Right when you walk in, the smell gets you.... More

Went for lunch with friends and enjoyed the quirky interior. We all had different choices...pulled pork, brisket and I got the Super Sampler with pork, beef, brisket, plus 1/4 slab of ribs (yes, I took most of it home). It all tasted mighty fine. Everything was very flavorful and tender, in fact, this was the most tender and moist brisket... More

This is some very good BBQ! My second visit to this restaurant was just as good as the first. This time I tried the half slab of baby backs. Not "fall off the bone tender", but instead the correct "chew off the bone tender". Very good! I had BBQ sauce on the side for dipping just the amount that I... More
