The best BBQ sauce!

Look for the pink pig out front! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. It's not fancy inside - unique is a good descriptor!

This is a neighborhood restaurant that offers good food. The cuisine is mostly pork ribs or brisket sandwiches. They offer chicken and catfish with different preparations for those not wanting pork. The food is plentiful. At times this restaurant can be very busy so they offer carry-out if you so desire. It is kind of funky with wood shavings on... More

The atmosphere was interesting and the signs on the walls were hilarious. Service was quick friendly and efficient. The food was not what we expected, watery western beans, rather bland. I ordered spicy fries and got lukewarm regular ones, obviously off of a pre done pile. The coleslaw and fried peppers were quite good, the ribs were nicely smoked but... More

Quick service, quirky atmosphere, hot food and Good. Spouse had pulled pork skillet and I had Tennessee Sampler. Juicy, tender, tasty and ample serving for pulled pork as well as the sampler. The sides are unlimited - Sweet potato fries fresh and hot, fried okra okay probably frozen, beans spicy with after bite, but mashed potatoes had been cooking for... More

Very good food and very popular place. We waited over half an hour, but was worth the wait. Staff are friendly. Big open room, so can be somewhat noisy, especially when it's crowded.

I've been to this funky place multiple times over the last several years. In my book no visit to Mesa would be complete without at least one trip here. It's all about the baby back ribs for me. Definitely not fancy and you may be seated at one of their large communal tables. They bring you corn bread with green... More

We arrived at a very busy time. We waited only for a few minutes, and then were seated. Our server was there quickly, took our drink orders. (only wine and beer) then when she came back we placed our orders, and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Think early machine shop with all of the metal signs on the walls.... More

Ate here tonight with an out of town visitor who pronounced the ribs great. nice smoked flavor. tender, meaty, juicy. The horseradish mashed potatoes were delicious as was the corn bread and cole slaw. The service was quick and friendly. We got there about 5:15 pm and did not have to wait for a table, By the time we left,... More

At our latest experience at Waldo’s, a predicted 15-minute wait turned into 45 minutes (it’s peak season, not uncommon) and we were already hungry after golf. After being seated there was even more waiting. We showed the beverage server our coupon, their only coupon, from their own website, displayed on our smartphone. It’s for the Tennessee sampler including a beverage... More

I went to Waldo's for the first time in years, yesterday. The service is the best. The servers are friendly and do exactly what you want: take the order quickly and serve you quickly and accurately while being very pleasant and personable. I wish they took reservations, though. We had to wait around 30 minutes. I would suggest going early... More
