Their service was good enough (it was empty), place was clean, open and big; but their food wasn't good, sushi was poorly made, and very loose; flavor wasn't good at all, and water taste even better from the sink than the one they gave me. Won't go back there ever.

HI All, Looking for Sushi is a hard thing to do in AZ. I moved from areas with some good sushi spots. However this one has a few specials as I went at lunch. It is not that bad. Not like 101 is. Yet you need to tell your chef to make it 'wet' or add sauces. Otherwise you will... More

Wasn't impressed by anything. Interior wasn't nice, the sushi was bad and the service was subpar. The Chicken Yakitori should be renamed Fat Yakitori, the Volcano was horrible and the Edamame wasn't even good. They should rename the place Sucky Sushi!

I went just once, sushi is not tasty at all, but pretty cheap. I ignore the taste of other items on menu, but they did look good. You get attention and they serve you very well; place was completely empty that time around noon.

This is one of the best places to come for sushi. Our favorites are: White Clam (sushi or sashimi), Ebi Sushi (sweet shrimp), White Tuna Sashimi, 911 Roll and Ika-Yaki (grilled squid). Be sure to ask for fresh wasabi. They also started serving home-made Kim Chee, which is fantastic. It goes particularly well with a bowl of rice. Also to... More

Coming from Hawaii, we pay way more for a lot less than the dinner we had here. None of us could finish our combination meal because there was so much food! And it was delicious!

Went here for lunch with a veteran of the place. He helped us with ordering since he knows the owner. He said he comes there at least twice a week due to food allergies & I believe him. The owner knew exactly what he could and, could not tolerate. As for the 4 of us, our meals were "spot on".... More

My Husband and I have been enjoying Sushi at Sekai for the past 15 years. Moon (the owner) is an excellent hostess, always has a smile and it's obvious that she want every customer to enjoy their dinner experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and would not eat Sushi anywhere else.

I have been a customer for years and I am pleased to say always happy with the experience. It is always a treat to have fresh food and a cold Japanese beer.

Came for two birthdays & ordered the sushi boat & teriyaki chicken. The sushi boat usually serves 2 people with a whopping 32 pieces of sushi if I recall correctly. Four of us shared the boat & we still had 8 pieces remaining. We also had small salads & soups. The owner is very friendly & brought out tempura fried... More
