Half a mile away and I only eat here every 3 years.

This is one of those places everyone loves and I can't understand why. The Fish sandwich is to die from. Not "For" but "From". Yes I think they are that bad. The worst fish patties I've ever had. Period. I've had 3 over the past 30 years, hoping they will have gotten better, but they never... read more

Pete's is a long standing tradition for our family. Having gone there frequently while I was in high school makes it fun to take my kids and grandkids there for a quick bite to eat. The food is good and the prices, while a little on the high side, are still competitive. We love Pete's!!

This is a favorite for many of the locals, it is very good, quick and you get to enjoy the outdoors while eating at picnic tables.

I have been to this restaurant before. It is always good. Husband had the fish and shrimp said it reminded him of mexico. Really like the sauce. Fish is always hot. Fast service even in the drive thru.

First experience was at the Tolleson location in 1980. Fish is always hot and service doesn't take long, even when very busy. Chips are small shoestrings, but there are plenty. Shrimp are small but tasty. Wish they still carried oysters, but they removed them from the menu about a year ago. Always get an extra sauce for 30 cents. Burgers are... More

As a Arizona native I have frequented Pete's Fish and chip numerous times. The food is very affordable and you can feed quite a few people for under $30.00. Be prepared to wait a little since this place is usually packed especially on the weekend. However they do have a mist system outside to cool you off while you wait.... More

It doesn't look like much...a little hole in the wall but if you like fish & chips, shrimp & chips or crabettes...you are in the right place! The sauce is irreplaceable! Just remember they don't take cards...You WILL need to have cash...If you are expecting fancy dining, this definitely isn't the place with signs like, "Your mom doesn't work here... More

This is the place to go in Mesa for fish & chips. I was on my own and my wife doesn't like fish & chips, so I took it as an opportunity to try Pete's. I ordered the Super Seafood Combo, a bit large for one person, but it sounded good. I took the order to go since I wasn't... More

The worst Fish & Chips ever..Frozen squares of Pollock. Soggy & cold french fries about 1 inch long. All you would have to do is go to Wal-Marts frozen food section and buy this same crap. This fish product was designed for buffet lines and sandwiches, NOT FISH & CHIPS. My understanding of fish used for fish and chips goes... More

Pete's is extremely budget-friendly. The fish are cake-shaped and fried to a deep golden brown. Pete's makes its own "sauce" for the fish and chips, and they don't offer any other condiments. I happen to like malted vinegar on my fish and chips, but the sauce was ok. Apparently it is a local favorite, as you can also buy some... More
