My husband and I are on a quest to find the best nachos in Mesa on our weekly dates. we were disappointed when the restaurant in the lead, Rancho de Tia Rosa, had a fire and closed. This week we drove around till we found Rosa's Mexican Grill. We were not terribly excited about going in. The shopping plaza where... More

After the outstanding reviews, we decided to visit. Here is what we observed: 1. Slow service 2. Flat and tasteless salsa 3. Beef in enchiladas and burritos was like beef jerky 4. Chips were not warm 5. Tortilla required surgical blade to cut 6. Expensive Mexican for the quality We will not return.

You can tell walking in that Rosa's has been around a while in a market that is heavy on Mexican restaurants. I was with a family group of 7. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes and drinks. I had the pork flying saucer and it was more than I could eat and very tasty.

If you are seeking an authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place for you. We were promptly seated, orders taken and food served. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food although one Midwestern visitor expected ground rather than the traditional shredded Mexican style for beef. The green corn tamale was as close to perfection as I have ever tasted... More

took the family here for some good old Mexican food. Not disappointed. Staff was courteous and fast with salsa and chips and lots of water !! Menu has quite a lot to choose from, so will picked different items for "sharing", all were great. Great value as well

We were so excited to take our out of town visitors to Rosas. We called ahead and made a reservation for 10 people. When we arrived not one person acknowledged us. After 20 mins of people not wanting to make eye contact with us we asked to talk to the manager. The workers then spoke bad about us in Spanish... More

Funky location in a mostly abandoned local mall but absolutely worth the trip. Excellent Mexican food with unique smoky flavor to their beans. Seafood is outstanding and fajitas (with chicken and shrimp) are wonderful, big enough to share and there is nothing like the aromas and the sizzle as they arrive at the table. I have noticed some of the... More

Rosa's has been here longer than I have. The food is excellent and the atmosphere inside is charming. Casual dining. The Avacado Pinapple salad is our favorite.

We have been going to this place for years. It is kind of a drive so we don’t make it often but we are never disappointed. Everything tastes homemade, the décor is inviting and the service is always prompt. We will continue to go whenever we have a chance.
