Los Dos was not up to par today. Green chile sauce had a strange lumpy consistency and the carne adovada was dry. The chicken in the chimichangas was tough, dry, and hard to swallow. The fire in the chile sauces was still present, but that was about all that was good. Man, even the corn chips served with the salsa... More

I had heard this restaurant was the best Mexican in the valley. not in my opinion. I am not a food snob and I have been a server; I always side with servers if I can see they are trying, if the restaurant is really busy or if there appears to be kitchen issues. I've been to this restaurant 4... More

We've been eating at Los Dos Molinos for 30 years now and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. We're from New Mexico so the "Sonoran style" Mexican food you normally find in the valley was not quite up to what we had grown up with. Los Dos Molinos solved that problem for us perfectly. Their adovada ribs are... More

Every time I come here, I get the Carnitas, which is slow-roasted pork. It's not spicy, which is why I get it. It's delicious every time.

Our party of 10 dined here last night; 5 were children under the age of 12. While the adults enjoyed the kick of the salsas and homemade jalapeno poppers, the kids were able to pick from a great menu of non-spicy items and they enjoyed their meals as much as we did. Our server was super patient and friendly; she... More

Best New Mexican food since travelling through New Mexico. Both red and green chili are Hot but some entre choices are mild in flavor and very good in taste. Told myself I would end the meal with sopapillas and they were delicious. Good thing I had company to help eat them. The restaurant doesn't stand out on the outside (drove... More

This is a fabulous "New Mexican" restaurant, just as "Tex-Mex", it is different than "Mexican". New Mexican is typically spicier, so for that I would agree that if you don't like it spicy this is probably not the place for you. However, a natural way to stop the burning is honey, they have wonderful sopapia, so get an order of... More

If it was not for the good service and friendly people I would have rated it less. The food was way too hot. It was so hot I could not enjoy the food. My lips were on fire. I think there is a reason that when they seat you they come with a pitcher of water. I have had Mexican... More

I have visited Los Dos many times while in Phoenix (I have my sister, a local, to thank). I am sure you can find something without heat, but here why would you? Great service and wonderful food. Always a great meal!
