I'm a native of arizona and naturally I have visited mexican food resturants all across the state. What you will find is what My wife and I would classify as old school mexican cuisine. The menu is extensive and they even offer vegiterian selections. The food was really good, I considered my... read more

We visited on Saturday about 3:00 pm. They have Negro Modelo on tap, a plus. Chips good, husb asked for mild salsa & it was pretty good. The spicy salsa was hot & tasty. Once we ordered WE WAITED 45 MINUTES FOR FOOD!!! After we queried the waitress, our food finally arrived. Husb had a fried, butterflied shrimp dish. Whole... More

Food was good, service ok, took a bit longer to get appraisers and dinner then I thought it should. Prices good. They do take reservations and credit cards despite other reviews. Nice place to bring friends our family.

We have been to this restaurant maybe 3 or 4 times. We are not huge Mexican food fans, but Casa Ramos has a broad variety of dishes that go beyond the traditional Mexican restaurant fare. They have great flavors and, if time allows, the owner likes to get to know his customers and will visit with you at your table.... More

Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals. My husband and father had different enchiladas. My dad said the were the best he's ever had. They were fajita enchiladas. My mom and I had taco salads. Mom had ground beef that was a bit pink. I had shredded beef that was very flavorful. The chips and shells were a bit... More

I was in Mesa for business and wanted some good Mexican. My hotel sent me to a different Mexican restaurant but when I got there they said they were closing. I jumped on Yelp and drove to Casa Ramos and I am glad that I did. Their chips and salsa were great. I ordered the Colorado burrito and the meat... More

A "snowbird" for the past 12yrs, in Arizona and love to eat out. After seeing Casa Ramos on a local tv show "Check Please Arizona" I decided to try it. Went with 2 friends who are locals. I ordered chicken mole and it was delicious. It ranked right up there with the mole at Rancho Tia Rosa which is the... More

We decided to make a stop here based on the recent reviews on PBS Check Please program. Yes it is Mexican Eclectic Décor when you walk in and looks like a fun hip place to be. We were greeted warmly and seated in a nice booth. The booth was directly under the speakers and the music was so loud that... More

Delicious margaritas! Large ones were only $7 and small were $3 - that might have been a happy hour price, but they would be worth whatever the price. We had a party of 7 and had great service. We highly recommend the mango, raspberry, regular and strawberry/banana margs! We also had the steak fajitas and burritos! The steak in the... More

Were taken here by friends for lunch. Upon entering I felt I was entering a maze as the booth backs were so tall you had to weave in and around them to get to the middle of the restaurant....not a good idea! It was a Friday at noon and there wasn't anybody else in the restaurant beside our party of... More
