Very Good Buffet

Went to the Guru Palace for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They had several attractive items on the buffet including salad and fruit. The Tandoori chicken was very tasty, the Palak Paneer was prepared very well, and the Lamb Curry was spicy without being over bearing. Not the best Indian... read more

After wintering in the valley for 9 years and eating out at restaurants very often we were pleased to find this great East Indian restaurant. Clean interior, excellent well informed waiter and waitress, nice decor and good house wine. We had the "hotness" of our dish at 4. We are fairly seasoned in East Indian food and found this just... They do buffet on the weekends plus formal menu services if you want an À la carte. We've been there on Sunday. Food was good and they had adequate dishes on buffet including salad and desserts. I loved the Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Lassi and the Garlic Naan. Waiters were well dressed and well behaved.

My family and I like going to Guru Palace for their Lunch Buffet. A lot of choices.. freshly made Naan to your order ( plain or garlic ), curries, rice, salad, dessert and even Chai Tea or Mango juice. The service is a little bit slow. A lot of times the food was great!! Once I stop there and had... More

Go to Indian restaurant in Brunswick area for a nice sit down experience. Service is professional and courteous. Service staff wear nice attire and seem to know dining etiquette. Order wise, we got the Samosa for appetizer. Entree we got the chicken Tikka marsala and lamb curry. Not a big fan of lamb curry, but it tasted good. The chicken... More

Where is the beef? "The cow is considered a sacred animal by Hindus and hence beef is not readily available in most restaurants in India." Excellent service, excellent cooking, so nice to have a reliable Indian restaurant in Mesa. Also excellent for "to go", a good alternative to cooking in your kitchen and always popular with the family.

We came here on a Saturday for lunch-- knowing that it was Indian food. Some things you need to aware of: Indian food is an acquired taste. All that was on the buffet for meat was chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Along with the chicken was goat-- Billy or Nanny- I don't know. Not very tasty. The sauces the meat... More

Everything was wonderful! 1)No cheap plastic or melamine plates for serving your food on, (thank goodness!) But actual real China/ceramic plates and special decorative stainless serving dishes etc! 2) The waiter knew what to suggest so we could have a nice variety as a couple, only $19 something included desserts! We had lamb, 2 types of seasoned chicken, basmati rice,... More

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant. The garlic naan is light, fluffy, and incredibly tasty. The chicken masala was my favorite dish. Pleasant, open atmosphere. relaxed and un-hurried. Very clean! Can't wait to come back!

I have been going to Guru Palace for years now. Before I started visiting this location I frequented another one of their restaurants (Indian Dehli Palace). Today, is the last day I will ever return to either. I usually purchase takeout and spend about 50 dollars each trip. I ordered takeout around 1pm which I usually order at night, and... More
