I'd heard about El Cairo from my family in Rosario and decided to check it out. The food was nice and so were the portions! The best thing about El Cairo is the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. The location is also great, try and get a seat by the window so you can see the buzzing... More

Had a mid-afternoon coffee and sandwich and both were very good. Good ambiance and the place is always packed. I agree with one of the reviewers, service is slow, but that also happened at several other restaurants and cafes that I visited. Annoying, but I got used to it during my two-week stay in Rosario.

Nice ambience, great to sit down while exploring the city to rest your feet and soak in some of the local flair. We had a huge glass of white wine for 20 pesos, 2 cafes con leche and 2 delicious toasted mini-croissants with ham and cheese for a total of 85 pesos/USD10. This should be on every travelers itinerary while... More

nothing to write home about, but you can get a regular cup of coffee. the location is great and the atmosphere very nice. the service is VERY slow. They really need to train their staff to pay attention, or at least occasionally go to the tables to see if their customers need something. We had to constantly flag some one... More

Average service, average food with north american prices. If you want better service and better ambiance for better prices try Strood- is located at the corner of Laprida with Mendoza. Slowly but surely, there is no value left in Argentina- inflation is rampant and quality of service lagging behind.

It's located in the city centre. You can have coffee or lunch or dinner. Snacks and some dishes like salads, schnitzel and fries.

If you ever have been to Rosario you surely have noticed this wonderful place in the center of the city. This bar with its big French windows shows you the wonderfully decorated interior with columns, curtains and everything with a touch of retro chic. This bar also has a historical importance: famous argentinean (and from Rosario) writer Roberto Fontanarrosa used... More

A famous bar and cafe that mixes beverages and books. Nice place to spend some time in the afternoon or evening.
