Nice local spot

El Cairo is a very typical resto in Rosario serving the typical food that everyday people eat. All with the charm and character of a nice place in Rosario

Very good place to have dinner or have lunch. Several kind of Argentine foods. Any time you can go there and it's opened. On the Rosario's hart El Cairo is a traditional bar and restaurant. Cool waitress and waiter. You feel at home.

The Bar El Cairo is an ok Brasserie in Rosario. The building itself is nicely renovated. The service is friendly (if you speak a bit Spanish) but slowly of course. The food is ok and not to expensive. They also show a lot of sports event during the day. But it's not a noisy spot. Actually perfect for a cold... More

A very beautiful building, inside cosy. Coffee was not that good, half moon (croissant)was nice. We asked for a fresh orange juice, is was ok. Staff friendly but not customer focused.

No longer a destination I would recommend, for any purpose that has to do with food. Quality has gone downhill. Service is generally lousy (having to go to the counter to get the bill after 20 minutes of waiting). The Picada Melanesa was just not competitive with other quality destinations.

It use to be better. We ate very well. It was overwhelmed. It took 45 minutes to bring a salad and a warm sandwich, They should clean it better.

I'd heard about El Cairo from my family in Rosario and decided to check it out. The food was nice and so were the portions! The best thing about El Cairo is the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. The location is also great, try and get a seat by the window so you can see the buzzing... More

Had a mid-afternoon coffee and sandwich and both were very good. Good ambiance and the place is always packed. I agree with one of the reviewers, service is slow, but that also happened at several other restaurants and cafes that I visited. Annoying, but I got used to it during my two-week stay in Rosario.
