Excellent and unique!

I believe the chef has worked in Italy and the offerings here reflect a European flair. The restaurant is small but delightfully decorated and the food - well, the food was wonderful!!! Try the grape fondue - amazingly simple but absolutely delicious!

We had high expectations after reading the positive trip advisor reviews. alberto was very friendly and at first he seemed genuine. Rather than giving us menus he described our options with lots of theatre and persuasion. We followed his recommendations and the food was fine for a small local restaurant. The shock came when we received the bill! He assured... More

In the deepest I regret the misinterpretation of what happened. With pleasure I explain the menu and give them the appropriate letter. Your order was as follows for 3 people: Entrees: - 1 ½ Red grape Fondue - Mascarpone cheese and Roquefort. Value portion 100 = 150 Pasta: 2 Porcones homemade noodles with cream sauce with mushrooms Boletus edulis (Swine)... More

Our meal was so good. We enjoyed Alberto and all of his suggestions. We ate at several other restaurants in town and none of them compared to La Vaca Enamorada.

I was walking past and chose this place mainly because I liked the name. Alberto was very welcoming and made me feel at home, and the steak was perfect and exactly what I was after for my only night in Argentina

Definitely worth a visit. Alberto and his wife, cook up homely food, very good quality and really friendly and humble hosts, we were made to feel right at home. Decor is quirky and fun. Alberto did tend to push for his specials and most tables were eating these same specials but the food was great and we have no complaints... More

We went here yesterday, following the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. And I am glad we did. We were greeted by Alberto the owner who is just amazing. An owner who is clearly still passionate about good and service. We followed most of Alberto's suggestions on the menu and I have to say each and every dish was spot on. The... More

We really enjoyed the grape fondu, river fish, and steak. Alberto is the best, he made great recommendations and was really helpful in finding two American ladies Gelato and a cab after out meal! Very diverse menu with different offerings by availability. This is such a cool local restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere! You must go if you visit Iguazu!!

We had to walk quite far down the street to discover this little gem of a restaurant, past all the other more crowded and popular looking restaurants. But it was well worth it. We arrived to find a colourful green cow staring at us through the window pane, and were a little dubious at the start because the restaurant was... More

Very kind owner. From the large menu only choice in three starters, three main dishes and one desert. Starter (garlic gamba's) was nice but already 120 ARS, the steak was excellent (140 ARS), the side dishes were good but very small for the price (55 pesos each). Very little available wines as well. All in all good, but not worth... More
