We ate here on recommendation of other tripadvisor reviews. As others have shared the staff does not speak English or rather very limited English. On the day we dined we were served by the restaurant owner. For whatever reason the restaurant was only serving a limited menu and he painstakingly explained to us what was available on the menu including... More

Following the reviews we visited the restaurant, easy to find but not fully central. Surprisingly there were not so many people in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean with handcrafted furniture that gives to the restaurant the appropriate atmosphere. The service is good and the owner/waiter explaines rather soon the specialties of the day. My advice is to follow his... More

As we walked into the restaurant, we were eloquently and thoroughly greeted by a very likable character. This was Alberto, the owner/host/waiter of the restaurant. He calmly and gently sat us down and told us, because of the lateness of the hour and of how busy the restaurant had been all day, he could only serve me a few items... More

Great fresh food! gambas al olio are a must have. Staff is friendly and helpful. But its better to speak at least a little spanish, menu only in spanish. Great price for the quality you get. And i always like to support local people rather than hotels ;) I was tempded to order more food only to stay a little... More

We decided to take a trip to town to try this place based on all the reviews. All I have to say is that I agree with all the positive ones. We were greeted by Alberto... the owner, waiter, busboy and maybe the cook. He took the time to explain that his menu is small and tasty and that there... More

Down to earth décor and carefully prepared home made meals with surprising twists like green grapes with cream cheese dipped in warm sauce as well as lasagna with very light pasta and balanced stuffing.. Very good!

Alberto and 'his lady' who we actually never saw , gave us àn absolutely Charming, personable experience of his most delicious cuisine. Shame we have à limited eating capacity. We had a very nice dinner at la vaca enamorada tonight. Starting with a cream Roquefort fondue and grapes filled with mascarpone. Awesome idea and very tasty, especially for a cheese lover as myself. The main course was bife de chorizo done absolutely perfect, and a tomato onion salad as a side.We shared a big bottle of Patagonia beer and... More

Lured by the number 1 spot on Tripadvisor, we entered this little restaurant. The owner was also the only waiter and was a very nice guy, although in a very weird and chaotic way. We only received the menu and our first drink after 45 minutes(!) of waiting. I selected a beer which was advised by the water, but immediately... More

Perfect respite from the Iguazu tour groups, this small restaurant just across the street from the giant tablecloth group friendly establishments offers stunningly portioned steaks (naturally) and outstanding homemade Italian pastas. Alberto is the gracious owner and host, formerly of Rome and Orvieto restaurants, and he not only shares his wifi password but suggests what to eat: go with the... More
