This is a great pasta place, all pasta is freshly made and you can see chefs cook in the background. It is not a fancy place, it's predominantly a takeaway where locals seem to buy their fresh pasta and sauces. The pasta is so fresh and the staff are friendly - this is not a real tourist spot in the... More

In a town full of tourist traps, restaurants bending over backwards to get you inside to eat sub par slop, Mammas was a fantastic alternative to the bland alternatives. Unassuming yes, the decor of the place is that of a sandwich bar. Space for 3 tables of 2 indoors but plenty outside, the food in this gaff really was top... More

My boyfriend and I are traveling in Argentina and Chile for 2 months and these was the best pasta so far we ate on the Argentinian side. Absolutely to recommend.

This place was right across the street from our hotel and we passed it by a few times, thinking it was really for take-out. Our loss. When we finally went in on our last day, we found out what everyone was raving about. It's nothing fancy--you go to the counter and pick out your pasta and they take it to... More

One of the most delicious homemade pasta (with pesto) I've had in South America and good prices too! Go there if you have the chance.

I walked by this place the first day I was in Iguazu and thought "tourist trap"...NOT SO! We went back for lunch the next day (thanks to some convincing TA reviews) and it was one of the best pasta dishes that I've ever had. All of the pastas are hand made that day. You choose a pasta and a sauce... More

Don't let the shop look fool you. This place produces excellent Italian food. Food arrived promptly and tasted amazing. Staff were polite and obliging. Make sure you stop by here.

Just got back from this place after some excellent food and said I must write a review.. And I'm not really surprised there are already great reviews on here! It does look like just a take out joint, and there doesn't really seem to be a menu as such. We point at another couple's dish and ordered that as they... More

Tried this restaurant out based upon other reviews and glad we did. When we first walked up to the restaurant it looked more like a take out food shop. There are several tables inside and several more on the sidewalk offering little in the way of ambience. However the owner (5 star chef who worked for Sheraton Hotels in multiple... More

Brilliant fresh pasta. You chose pasta and salsa and it is all freshly made. I recomend that you share bacuse that is plenty. Very, very good resturant. Will go there again if I ever return to Puerto Iguazu.
