Good food, very friendly service!

Recommended by our hotel, we went here for lunch. Great view of the rivers mixing. A very professional and attentive waiter. I had a lovely bruscetta. The mixed salad is as everywhere in Argentina. Simple, unimaginative, but tasty and fresh ingredients. The meat was well cooked and juicy. The fish... read more

Excellent fish - we tried the Dorado and Surubi, both were succulent and delicious. There was a nice breeze beneath the tables and the atmosphere was calm. We ate there rather late, few people were present. The sides were better than usual and the wait staff was friendly and responsive.

I have been there following advice of the place where we were staying and it is really a disappointment. The only good thing was that it lies next to the river, and the three point frontier "Hito de las tres fronteras", but sitting outside means continuously being annoyed by all kinds of bugs, a service that almost ignores your requests... We waited for more than one our for grilled meat, we had to send one of them back because it was not rightly cooked. And at the end, they tried to rip us off because they wanted us to pay in cash.

It overlooks the river and is walking distance from the hotel Amerian. They have a nice patio for dining, is relatively inexpensive and has good food. The staff are friendly.

Make sure you request a table out on the terrace for the view of the tri-border area where Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil meet. The food was very plentiful and good. Service was incredibly slow. There was a cat that sat very near the table and watched us eat, hoping we would share some food. The cat walked amongst the tables... More

Eight of us on a tour group were staying for one night at the Amerian Hotel, so we decided to pay a visit to the Bocamora initially for a drink while the sun went down, to take advantage of the views from the terrace. We arrived at 6pm and were the only people there for a while, and therefore had... More

We had read about Bocamora and it's prime location and views, so stopped off for a quick drink at Bocamora whilst exploring Puerto Iguazu. We were there early evening (5pm ish) and there was no one else in the restaurant, and the service was slow to say the least. We ordered a caipirinah and a pisco sour (from their menu),... More
