Food with a view

This restaurant is clearly popular with locals - couples, groups and families. We enjoyed a hearty evening meal here with decent wine and, even though the place was not full (it was midweek), there was a lively atmosphere. From inside the lower section of the restaurant and from the terrace (when open) there are direct views across the River Iguazu... More

Located right on the costanera (coastline) near the Tres Fronteras (Three Borders) monument (which, as of November 2014, seems to be under construction). Incredibly romantic location with a good vibe. The menu is large and diverse. I had the pork chop and my husband had the ojo de bife, and both were delicious. The view is incredible, the wine list... Excellent restaurant, but the October heat on the outdoor patio between 2PM and 4PM was quite extreme. A dinner visit later in the afternoon/evening is more comfortable. Had the fish with shrimp sauce over mashed sweet potato which was better than expected, with plenty of cold cold beer. Restaurant overlooks Paraguay and Brazil, although, due to the brown water of... We had several good meals in Puerto Iguazu, none were as good as Bocomora Grill. We were seated immediately on the deck over looking the confluence with moonlit views of Paraguay and Brazil. We selected a nice Argentine Merlot, my wife ordered the Filet Mignon while I had the sirloin. Both pieces of meat were cooked exactly as we ordered.... More

Wow! Do not miss this when visiting Puerto Iguazu! The restaurant is right on the water (be sure to ask for a table on the back patio). Sitting outside on the back patio when the sun is setting over the river is absolutely gorgeous. It is a perfect evening to enjoy with a bottle of wine. The wine list is... More

The view is very nice. But the food was terrible. The meat seemed spoiled. Fish just ok. Overpriced. Better just have a cup of coffee or a drink and enjoy the view.

The reviews indicate they are a little slow but have some wine and relax. We ate with a large group and my dish was delicious. The wine is a bargain and the river view wonderful. Fish and beef seemed to please most who ordered.

This has to be one of the best located restaurants I have visited. Overlooks the confluence of the Parana and Iguacu Rivers, with three countries in view. We only had a main course - restaurant style parilla steak, and it was delicious with good ensenada to accompany, and a good wine list. Enjoyed the experience and well looked after by... More
