Good service

We had dinner with my wife and daughter in this place around 7PM. There were very few other people in the place at that time. However the place started to fill around 8PM. The service was relatively good. I think at times we were little bit forgotten but generally service worked. Menu is good... read more

This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, the St. George in Puerto Iguazu. We had walked by it earlier in the day and checked out its menu. While looking at the menu, a passerby encouraged us to try the suribi, a local fish. That night we shared a caprese salad, the suribi, a bottle of Malbec water, and... More

La Rueda was recommended to us by our tour guide. My husband had a mixed seafood dish which was very good. I initially ordered Dorado, which they didn't have, but they suggested I try the same dish (it was accompanied by a mango salad and dressing) with Pacu - a fish I had never heard of. It was absolutely delicious... More

We went to La Rueda 1975 upon recommendations that it was one of the top restaurants in Puerto Iguazú. The glass of wine (surely house) was about $3 USD. The dinners ran about $20. Basically we spent about $50 for the two of us without dessert. We enjoyed both of our meals and I liked the variety of the menu,... More

A really good restaurant and one that every visitor to Iguasu should visit at least once. I believe it is the best in town! My wife and I returned three times during our stay. The menu is varied with attractive pricing. We sampled many dishes and were not dissatisfied with any! Take your pick. The deserts are very tasty as... More

We chose La Rueda because it had good reviews. The staff were excellent but the kitchen is not up to standard. Front of house is excellent; beautifully presented tables etc. My husband ordered ribeye steak and I had a Mexican chicken dish. My chicken was dry and by the look of it, had been cooked and then reheated; hence the... More

Interesting surroundings!! Delicious food, great service although limited english spoken .. Quiet a nice ambience in the restaurant although not mad on the decor it still works and gives an intimate feeling despite quite a large restaurant ... The best steak we had had since landing and travelling around Brazil... maybe because we were over the border! Great wine list.... More

The night before we had a terrible meal at a nearby restaurant so someone suggested La Rueda. It was very good. We had the local river fish. It came with mushrooms, garlic and mashed potatoes. I recommend sharing a salad and a meal. The bread and cheese pate that comes before the meal is awesome. They gave very reasonable prices.
