Fantastic Restaurant - Best in Puerto Iguasu

A really good restaurant and one that every visitor to Iguasu should visit at least once. I believe it is the best in town! My wife and I returned three times during our stay. The menu is varied with attractive pricing. We sampled many dishes and were not dissatisfied with any! Take your pick... read more

We chose La Rueda because it had good reviews. The staff were excellent but the kitchen is not up to standard. Front of house is excellent; beautifully presented tables etc. My husband ordered ribeye steak and I had a Mexican chicken dish. My chicken was dry and by the look of it, had been cooked and then reheated; hence the... More

Interesting surroundings!! Delicious food, great service although limited english spoken .. Quiet a nice ambience in the restaurant although not mad on the decor it still works and gives an intimate feeling despite quite a large restaurant ... The best steak we had had since landing and travelling around Brazil... maybe because we were over the border! Great wine list.... More

The night before we had a terrible meal at a nearby restaurant so someone suggested La Rueda. It was very good. We had the local river fish. It came with mushrooms, garlic and mashed potatoes. I recommend sharing a salad and a meal. The bread and cheese pate that comes before the meal is awesome. They gave very reasonable prices.

Based on a guidebook recommendation, we decided to give La Rueda a try. As it was the day before Lent, we thought it might be busy, so we asked our hotel to make a reservation. When we arrived we were amazed at the crowd line up outside, even though it was only 8:30pm. I congratulated myself on having had the... More

The restaurant was very full despite the torrential rain in the evening. Luckily, our hotel made a reservation for us and the restaurant held the reservation for us despite we were late due to the rain. The surubi fish was the best dish we had in the whole South Amercia trip. The baby beef was only average. Service was excellent.... More

Salad and meat were nice. Pasta was ok. Got desert in two different days. Would rank 4/5. Nice environment. Would go back again.

As a meat eater, my husband was very pleased with the steak he ordered. It wa perfectly cooked, and very tender. I ordered a local river fish, Pacu, which was served with mango chutney on the side. The chutney was more like pureed mango with some peppercorn but was nice compliment to the buttery and sweet fish, also perfectly cooked.... More

Great ambience. Good service, and most importantly - high quality and DELICIOUS! We had the Surubi, local river fish, and it did not disappoint.

When we arrived we were pleasuntly surprized by its ambiance and nice location slightly off the main roads. The quality of service is very high but slow to my taste. The menu had English version. Meet dishes were definetely better than fish ones. The sauses were delitious. Our bill for 4 people including 4 main cources, beer and bottle of... More
