Baby beef was a bit fatty and muscle-ly

From the high rating in both TripAdvisor and Foursquare, We have decided to go to La Rueda for the final night dinner in Iguazu. We've ordered the Baby Beef and waited patiently with anticipation of the juicy and tender beef steak that takes 45 minutes to prepare. 45 minutes later, a hot plate... read more

We arrived without a reservation. It was early so they found us a little table. Waiter did pretty good with limited English Wine was very good by the glass Dinner was very good. Local fish was excellent. Lomo was extremely tender and good. Slow service but all service in Argentina is slow compared to North America. By the time we... More

The restaurant did not take reservations on the day we dined there, so there was a waiting list, though it took us only 5-10 mins to get to the table. The food is great and the service is good. Recommendable

After two dinners at Parilla Color, we decided to try another restaurant in Puerto Iguazu. We chose La Rueda based on the recommendation in the guidebook, their menu, and the people we saw dining there the night before. When we entered there was no waiter at the door so we sat at the table on the patio. When after another... More

We had a great meal there. Lots of bread included to start, then caprese salad (mozzarella could have been better for the price, but still very nice). Then we had fillet steak and t-bone steak. The fillet was seriously good! T-bone was also good. Desert was also good. The wine (about the 2nd or 3rd cheapest) was very drinkable but... More

Excellent seafood and appetizers. Very elegant, with beautiful decor, great service and high quality meals. Not what I was expecting for a tourist town - a pleasant surprise. Pricey, but worth the money.

The restaurant was recommended by hotel staff in Puerto Iguazu. It was the best steak I have ever had, ever. And, the price was much, much less than you'd pay for the same fare in the United States. Just be aware you are in Argentina and don't be in a hurry. You are by no means rushed through your meal.

This place is supposed to be a popular place in Iguazu so we were expecting to be treated to a good meal but were seriously disappointed. I found a dead fly in my starter and when I showed it to the waiter he just apologized and did nothing about it! We ordered ribeye steaks which arrived cold so we had... More
