Fish was good, steak not much

We went for dinner a group of 6. This was recommended by our hotel. Restaurant is one of the oldest in the area. Most people in my party were not very impressed with the service and the food. Honestly the server was a little absent during our dinner. I had the salmon that was amazing, most people... read more

Get the steak and pay in dollars. We went there twice and were not disappointed either visit. The bill lists the price in American dollars, Argentinian pesos and the Brazilian currency. I made the mistake of charging it and paid in pesos, which turned out to be about $20 more than had I paid with dollars cash.

I had a good tenderlion steak. I ordered it "bloody". It came medium rare-- It was a good piece of Argentinian beef. I also tried my wife's fish (which was cooked in foil). Nice, succulent oily fish.

The hotel and our taxi driver both recommended La Rueda. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing, tasty and beautiful to look at. Wine was delicious. By Argentina standards, it was slightly more expensive than other restaurants we enjoyed but the food was exceptional.

After a long day visiting the Iguazu Falls, we were craving a nice romantic and good quality dinner. This place was recommended to us by the Remis Driver. It's lovely and on the main restaurant strip of the town - near door to the service station. The food was sublime. Great quality and great variety. Highly recommend.

A friend told us to go, there we had a great meat experience, the steak was awesome serving 3 people, drink a very good wine and finally a delicious tiramisu. Honesty place, good price and big portions of food. I recommend.

We received recommendations to go there from two local taxi drivers. It was alright, not great, the food and service were plain good, but I guess that in such a small town, this place ranks high when compared to others. They take US dollars at a good exchange rate.

Based on T A reviews, we wanted to have lunch at De La Fonte, but it's not open for lunch. Our driver strongly recommended La Rueda, so that's where we went. Great choice! Too warm to sit on the lovely patio, but inside was wonderful. Waiter was attentive and suggested the local fish. The Surubi was decent, but the Pacu... More

Very nice and friendly restaurant! I've been there with many people, and the service was great! Food was very good, from pasta to fresh fish and, off course the famous chorizo steak! Recommend!!!

Booked a table based on mostly good reviews. We ordered a steak and "surubi" (a local river fish) which I'd ordered at our hotel (the Amerian) which was very, very good. At the restaurant, it was tasteless and had a definite "fishy smell and flavor" and my steak which I ordered medium was just plain raw in the middle. Complained... More
