The dining options are limited in Puerto Iguazu. One cannot complain too much about touristy restaurants when the entire town exists effectively to service tourists, of which are group were 3! The meal itself was fine, nothing spectacular. Good value steaks were nicely cooked. Good wine list with options at all price points; when we pointed out to the manager... More

We ate here upon the recommendation of our Gate 1 tour guide and were most impressed by the service and the filet mignon which was among the best I've ever had. And where else can you get your beer served on ice like champagne?? Quiet romantic atmosphere with pleasant soft jazz music completed a memorable evening.

This was our 2nd stay in Puerto Iguazu and we tried a number of places. La Rueda was one of our top choices (the other was Jasy Restobar). The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. You can sit indoors or out. The service was good. And the food was delicious! Wine prices are very reasonable. It does fill up later in... More

I've been to La Rueda just a couple of weeks ago. I went there since it was recommended by my guide. The interiors of the restaurant are surely interesting and there is an area outside with some table (even though they face the road). I ordered a steak and I asked it medium..but (after a long wait) they served a... More

Interesting how we ended up here. We were staying at the Sheraton in the National Park, and looked on tripadvisor, and wanted to go to "Parilla" restaurant. We spoke to the Concierge and he arranged a taxi for us to take a tour of Puerto Iguazu, take us to the restaurant, and then drive us back. The driver just took... More

I was in town with my family for a couple days. We had taken the bus from "Hito Argentino" and asked the Bus Driver for the best place to eat in town, he recommended la Rueda. I am not an expert but I have experienced some fine dinners in San Francisco restaurants that could have easily be considered of less... More

Been there with my wife during our last holiday. Although the staff was very polite and respectful, service was a little slow. Food was just OK. I ordered a steak, which was more cooked than what I ordered and the quality was subpar. Desert was great, though: panqueques de dulce de leche. And it was a little more expensive than... More

We went for very early dinner. The waiters were friendly. We took the traditional eggplant and a sample of empanadas and tortillas. They were good. As mains, we had 2 fish dishes. They were ok. With a glass of wine, a beer and a tiramisu plus coffee, the bill came back to approx 550 pesos. They gave us choice to... More

The food was very good (although my teenage daughter said her ribs were too tough), the wine was excellent. Have to love Argentina for quality food and wine. It was a bit crowded and the service a tad slow because of it.

La Rueda was the best restaurant we tried (better than Aqva), particularly the fish dishes (they have several local ones as well as amazing fish raviolis, a welcome change from all the beef). Plus, a nice setting and excellent service!
