Surprisingly good on the Argentinian borders

Very good restaurant in an otherwise very "touristique" area. Good main courses and very good wine list. Not all the waiters were up to it but truly agreeable. Get a table outside if possible.

Booked a table based on mostly good reviews. We ordered a steak and "surubi" (a local river fish) which I'd ordered at our hotel (the Amerian) which was very, very good. At the restaurant, it was tasteless and had a definite "fishy smell and flavor" and my steak which I ordered medium was just plain raw in the middle. Complained... More

La Rueda 1975 was our best dining experience in Puerto Iguazu. Located right in the heart of downtown it is an easy walk from most hotels. Menu selection and service were both very good. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. This is a good bet for a nice meal when visiting Puerto Iguazu.

We ordered some argentinian wine and of course a steak. We tried a lot but this was definitely one of our favorite steak in whole South America. The price is ok but worth it. The Restaurant is always very full booked - book a table in advance!

Although nice, the restaurant was not stellar. They had a fairly typical selection of menu item for this area: meat, pasta and local river fish. Service was rather slow, but that is fairly typical in Argentina. They have a very limited bar with virtually no cocktails served. I had a bife de chorizo (new York strip) that was very big... More

We had dinner with my wife and daughter in this place around 7PM. There were very few other people in the place at that time. However the place started to fill around 8PM. The service was relatively good. I think at times we were little bit forgotten but generally service worked. Menu is good. Wine list is good. There are... More

This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, the St. George in Puerto Iguazu. We had walked by it earlier in the day and checked out its menu. While looking at the menu, a passerby encouraged us to try the suribi, a local fish. That night we shared a caprese salad, the suribi, a bottle of Malbec water, and... More

La Rueda was recommended to us by our tour guide. My husband had a mixed seafood dish which was very good. I initially ordered Dorado, which they didn't have, but they suggested I try the same dish (it was accompanied by a mango salad and dressing) with Pacu - a fish I had never heard of. It was absolutely delicious... More
