Exceeded expectations

We had arrived in town from our jungle lodge on a shuttle, so had just over 2 hours to pick a place, order, eat, pay, etc. In Argentina, having dinner in two hours can be a challenge (not that we mind, generally, the custom here of slow but good service typically is meant to let you enjoy your food... read more

Not sure what we did to upset the waiter but he treated us like we were wasting his time choosing from the menu. The food was poorly presented and not worth the price wepaid

Argentines are good cooks especially for items off the grill. Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to that tradition. The prices were relatively high for the quality of the food and the service was horrendous. Our parrillada (a typical argentine serving of meat prepared different ways) was awful. In Argentina if you order a steak with salad they bring... More

I don't think my brother will ever recover from the greatness of their asado. Their pizzas are good too (a little too cheesy though, even for Argentine standards but hey, cheese is great). Service was super friendly. We were in Iguazu for two nights and dined here both times. Also, you can pay in euros or dollars and they don't... More

This place looked great from the street and had a decent atmosphere. We ordered some chicken, waiter said it'd be a 30-45 minute wait. We went ahead and ordered it. An hour later we asked how long until our food was ready and he said he never put the order in! He was quite rude about it as well. We... More

Very nice local restaurant across the street from the Hotel Saint George. We viewed the number of local residents eating there as a positive. Great menu ranging from empenadas to steak to pizza. prices are very good particularly if you pay in USD. Appeared to have a significant local population eating there.

The cold cuts and cheese appetizer was delicious. My husband had tenderloin that was very good. We are traveling with a friend and he and I shared the chicken skewer with onion, bacon and red pepper - it was fantastic. Prices are typical for the area and the place was packed.

Expected more from this place given the reviews. Caipirinha was too sweet and the steak had more gristle than meat. Potatoes were bland...at least the bread was good. Save your $$ for a better and probably cheaper option elsewhere

We been there last week ... The service of the place was one of the best ones in our visit to argentina. The quality of the meat is awesome! Probably you don't need the knife to cut the meat coz is really tender. Also they take our dollars at the best price in iguazu! Thanks Miguel for your great service!!!!

Not much to say except the food is ok but not even good. I had the risotto with seafood. It was greasy and tasteless. The seafood was over cooked that it actually tasted like dried fish. My husband had the tenderloin and it didn't have much flavor. The service was poor. The waitress never brought our second round of drinks... More
