Perfect dinner and real Italian food

We are travelling through Latin America for 2 months and this was the best dinner we had so far! Being Italian, I tend to be pretty sceptical about going to an Italian resturant abroad, but we gave this place a chance and it was well worth it!!! The food was amazing, starting from the "antipasto... read more

I just left a review for this restaurant under the hotel's listing but realized it belonged here instead. My friend ordered a pasta dish and discovered a cluster of little balls with liquid inside them. To her they looked like some sort of insect eggs. When she showed this to our waiter, he argued with her and told her that... More

When you stay at the hotel you often have seconds thoughts about eating in the same place, but maybe it's just the French in me speaking. Anyways.. I went ahead And no disappointment at all ! This is way above average Italian / Argentinian cuisine Service with smile and care Good wine selection No disturbing music, just good sound Only... More

This restaurant is the dining room for the Hotel LaSorgenta (which is highly recommended). There is a quite cosy atmosphere and quite a varied menu but of course it specializes in Italian food. The lasagna was a very different recipe than I was used to, but it was delicious, and boiling hot. Everything is made from scratch which has the... More

I can't believe the other reviews on this page - this was a really average restaurant. Overpriced and basic food. Pretentious attitude from the senior staff.

My partner and I LOVED our meals at La Toscana. It was particularly nice to see all the pasta hanging in the kitchen's window also.

Located in the center of town, the restaurant is relaxing and delicious. I ate the pasta with shrimp and arugula. Enjoy home made pasta. The service is wonderful. Employees have a great deal of pride. Reasonably priced.

We went to this restaurant because of the reviews we read and we were not disappointed! The pasta was freshly made and excellent. The sauces were delicious and the fresh warm bread nearly left me unable to eat the main course, but I just managed! I liked the touch of having the wine list on an iPad which offered more... More
