Great choice for a variety of foods

If you're with a group and everyone is in the mood for something different, Aqva is an excellent choice. Our group had steak, fish, and pasta, and while none was the best of its type we've had here in Puerto Iguazu, all were delicious. They also offer a terrific ambiance, great mixed salad (rare by... read more

It's a nice place and we had a good meal. The portions of our side dishes were a little small. The entres were good. It's a tourist place and their goal is volume. You'll have a good meal but it won't be a special experience. I think the service was adequate but not terribly attentive.

During our stay in Puerto Iguazu my wife and I found ourselves returning to Aqua several times for dinner. We found the atmosphere pleasant and welcoming, maybe due to the extensive use of wood for the decor. There are two rooms, one on the main floor and one upstairs, both quiet enough to carry a conversation or share a romantic... More

We called to make a reservation for 9:30. Confirming this on the call to two separate people. We arrived at 9:05 in order to maybe have a drink first, we were greeted by a flustered restaurant manager who told us we were late for our 9 o'clock booking. I explained that there must be some mistake as we had definitely... More

Nice restaurant, very friendly service. Food was fine and fairly priced. I had high expectations based on the reviews I had read and all the comotion when I mentioned this restaurant at the hotel. We had no reservations so the wait was about 20 min. Overall, I thought the steak (bife de chorizo) was good, but somewhat average when compared... More

Got here (without reservation) early but it still took us 10mins to be seated. Didnt live up to expectations, we had two river fish mains. My trio was poorly cooked apart from one of the pieces, and my wife's was equally bad. Her potato risotto was close to inedible. We left two half eaten plates behind, and we're a hungry... More

We had Surubi, a local favorite and enjoyed the tasty food and friendly service. It was a place for locals as well as tourists. Some the waiters speak English.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Aqva. Like with most Argentine restaurants, we found that we could easily split a few entrees and appetizers and feel full for a reasonable price. We would have been much too full if we'd each ordered our own plate, especially since dinner is so late. Lovely spot, our wait staff was excellent.

Came here for dinner tonight as it seems to have plenty of good reviews, ordered the entree of Argentine local specialities which was amazing, followed by tomato and onion soup which was just so delicious! Then for mains we had fish and prawn in white wine sauce with curried potato's as well as steak with onion risotto. The fish a... More

We ordered a river fish special entree and a chorizo steak with blood sausage. The fish was simply done and amazing! And we found a nice wine to pair. The steak was great - but the sauce was only okay, but again a great selection of reds to accompany and we enjoyed the interesting taste of Yukon gnocchi for some... More
