We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday for lunch with no reservations. The whole experience was great. The restaurant is charming and relaxed, but well-run by a friendly, efficient staff. All the food was fantastic. Octopus empanadas were incredibly delicious-- these are not your typical Argentine empanadas. The ceviche was fresh and wonderfully spiced/flavored. The apple-flavored pork... More

We had lunch at Azafran while on a visit to the city, a really lovely little restaurant, which doesn't have a wine list: you visit their temperature controlled wine cellar and choose from the shelves, where the bottles are organised according to the grape and the price, groups can also eat in here. Take a table inside, rather than outside... More

My bf and I were recommended this restaurant not only by our tour guide but by our hotel. I Don't believe this restaurant is terrible but the night we went , the service was terrible . Let's start by the wait staff : It took our waiter 10mins to bring out the hot sauce I had ordered but not because... More

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Argentina, which says a lot since we ate really well every single day we were there. We shared the tomato/mozarella salad, the oxtail ravioli, and the chateaubriand, and each dish was absolute perfection. We also loved the wine cellar, where instead of a wine list we were invited into the cellar... More

Pablo, the Exec Chef, prepared a ceviche appetizer for us that was out of this world. The wine cave is great, you pick out your own bottle with the help of the sommelier, who guided us toward a perfect red blend that went with a variety of meal choices and fit our budget. We had filet with blue cheese, pasta... More

We had lunch there and it was a very good value for the whole meal with a glass of wine. Enchanting atmosphere and decoration.

We had the chateaubriand for two, it was un-believably delicious and perfectly cooked. If i could pop in regularly I would! Best beef we'd eaten in Argentina...

We loved this place so much we went twice in the three days we were in Mendoza. The lunch special (3 courses + water or wine) for 215 ARS can't be beat and the quality of the food is very very good. We loved the goat empanadas, the tenderloin milanese was to die for and the home made pasta with... More

Chef Pablo Ranea is a genius. His tasting menu and his new seasonal creations rival the menus of some of the top restaurants in the world. Service was flawless and wine pairings are expertly chosen. A gorgeous experience!
