Cozy with Amazing Wine Cellar!

We were fortunate to book the last table in a Sunday night. We shared appetizers, choose a great unfiltered 2014 Malbec and enjoyed grilled meats, steak and the special of the evening lamb. Had we more time, we would return for a wine tasting and small plates. Service is delightful and the... read more

Upscale dining at its finest, right in the heart of Mendoza. Intimate, cozy, trendy, creative, the freshest food, the emphasis of Azafran is on quality, not oversized portions. Food here is art.

In my opinion there's better places to eat in the city. Lets start with the fact that we didn't like the table and when asked to change for another one that we liked better the waiter refuse to do so because the other table (free and not reserved) could not be changed for with no further explanation. He told us... More

Yes it's true! This thick cut was cooked perfectly brown on outside, pink on inside, bleeding in the middle. I requested this very specifically with the server and it was like magic it came back even better than in my mind. The wine cellar selection experience was fun as well. We had a bottle which was from the owner's own... More

We travelled 5 weeks through South America, and sampled some very good restaurants... I think this was the best of them. The bread was fresh, the salad entree delicious and then the mains were fantastic. We had lamb ball risotto and pastry wrapped beef and both were highlights of our trip. The beef was perfectly cooked and I didn't want... More

We had the steak empanadas and young goat pie for starters. Both were delicious. For main course we had gnocchi and the steak with phlyo dough and spinach. Also, both were good. Staff was friendly

Exceptional food... worth seeking this one out. A few nice tables in a protected area adjacent the sidewalk. Two story wine room for selecting wines... very helpful service selecting wines.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Azafran. From the moment we walked in the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food- amazing-. Pablo, the executive chef, came to our table and gave us information about some of the wineries we were interested in visiting. Super delightful afternoon and an incredible meal. We will be going back for more.

We went to this restaurant in Mendoza as a result of recommendation and were expecting great things. But as sometimes happens, the mismatch of hope and reality resulted in disappointment-compounded by a woeful response when things went wrong. We were welcomed into the restaurant and the staff were friendly. However, for main coures we ordered a risotto with courgette flowers... More

Very Nice Food, but the ambience is kind of confusing. The mood doesn't match the music that doesn't match the decor. Service is kinda cold as the whole experience. Great wine selection and you pick your wine with a sommelier. Great rabbit empanadas. Great food.
