A little disappointing, because it was too expensive for the meal we received and we had to wait a lot

Great bargain for the quality of food and service. Recommendation of Vines, another must for wine tastings

Glad we found this place as we walked in the neighborhood. Very good service and helpful sommelier. The food was delicious. The wine "cellar" was well stocked with a good selection & the sommelier was knowledgeable. The empanadas were filled with hand cut beef not just ground and were delicious. The saffron ravioli and beef in pastry were good mains.... More

But this is a must-do for eating in Mendoza. Ask to sit in the wine cellar! And have the provoleta as a starter...grilled provolone with olive oil & herbs. Naturally your steak will be world-class as well. Don't miss this one.

They would not let us come as a large 30 people group so we came as 3 ten person groups at 12 hour apart. They let us start at 7:30 PM. Ordered the Chateaubriand it was OK.

A pleasant restaurant with attentive staff - the young waitress was friendly and called a taxi for us at the end of the night, going out into the street to check it had arrived & letting us know promptly. We enjoyed the wine but it was expensive. The food wasn't memorable especially after comparing it to some outstanding lunches at... More

I had the 5 course meal, and the oxtail-saffron raviolis blew my mind! The wine pairing (Cab) was excellent. My husband had the chateaubriand, which was beautiful and enormous. Not cheap, but a wonderful splurge. Make reservations.

Azafran changed a lot from what it was 3 years ago. It's more sophisticated. It used to be informal and I liked it that way. Still, the food is gorgeous, bistrô style and they display bottles from simple to premium wine.
