This was a great find for a jet lagged couple who just wanted a light, early dinner. The waitress spoke fluent English, the food was amazing (try the empanadas!) and the wine - local of course - was to die for. The sommelier recommended a cabernet sauvignon by the glass, and it was a great welcome to this wine growing... More

Very nice and cozy decorated restaurant. Service is a little bit slow and layed back. I ordered a "Milanesa", which usually is absolutely great in Argentina, However, it was horryble and all I could taste was reused oil. Instead of crispy and brown, it was greasy and disgusting. As I complained to the waiter, he replied "perfectamente" and left. No... More

We arrived at this well run restaurant by chance (staying at the Hyatt just round the corner) and without a reservation. Eventually we managed to negotiate a stay on condition that we were out by 9.30 when "our table" was booked. The meal was excellent, as was the wine list- a choose yourself room adjoining and although we had to... More

We had dinner there last night and it was a very pleasant experience. Extensive wine cellar, where you can pick your bottle. Gentle waiters and somelier. Nice food. I had pork, which was delicious. Average pricing. Good location, near the centre of the city.

Ate here on an evening, 23.00. Went at 22.00, but the restaurant was full, went for drinks across the road and came back to eat. We had the special seafood risotto and veg/pesto pasta. Both were great. Would we go back - yes

I was impressed by the creative menu and chose duck empanadas with fig. A very nice Sauvignon blanc and a salad along with artisan breads at the table made for a delicious lunch.

175 peso's for a 3 course lunch with amuse bouche and a large glass of Malbec was excellent value for this great little restaurant. All the food was well presented and tasted great. We paid more than double the night before at 1884 Francis Mallman and yet I would say this was a better meal. Highly recommend!

This restaurant continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Mendoza. It is by far my first choice in downtown. Some days are better than others. The menu aims high in its attempt to combine innovation with tradition. Most dishes are very successful. Among our favorites are the duck and fig empanadas, the salad of shrimp and king crab... More

Still a great restaurant and very good services. Was delighted with their extensive wine selection A little dissapointed with the quality of their meats this time. Talk to the chef about this so hopefully it will improve.

We were only staying in Mendoza for a night, so we needed to take full advantage of it. Dinner was something that we had looked into before going there, and Azafran was reccommended to us by many friends and relatives. So of course, we had to go there. We arrived half an hour late due to our flight delay, but... More
