My partner and I ordered 2 different sandwiches to share. The sandwiches were huge! They tasted nice but nothing special. It wasn't cheap.

Visited Bute a few times while staying at the Park Hyatt next door, cheap breakfast with the typical coffee, fresh squeezed oj, croissants, and marmalade that you will find at most Argentinian cafés. Lunch was good as well, slightly pricy at lunch but the portions are huge, the sandwich I ordered was 80 pesos but it was really the size... More

Went here for a late night snack. The menu seemed a little small but I was still able to find good options of food to eat. I had the bruschetta which was very tasty however difficult to eat because of the meat on the bread. My only other issue is that when they gave me the menu there was no... More

After a big wine tour lunch we were looking for a light dinner with atmosphere and a reasonable list of half bootlegs of wine (couldn't handle a whole bottle after the tour). We found what we were looking for at Bute Plaza, plus more. Contemporary setting, with recorded jazz, followed by a very good jazz quartet at 10:30pm. Varied menu... More

Close to our hotel and with a good selection of food, including a kid's menu. The only problem was the street's noise.

We ate lunch here twice during our visit to Mendoza, once outside on a hot day, and once inside on an unusual rainy day. They had really good sandwiches, but the portion was about twice what an average person could eat. The first time, we took half home, but the second time we had learned to order 'compartido' or a... We stayed at the nearby Hyatt and stopped here for an early dinner. The service was great- limited English but the menu is also in English which was the first time we have seen this in Argentina. I had the saltimbocca chicken and a side order of the cheesy rice. My husband had a steak with mashed potatoes and our... More

When it's 30C + outside anybody wants a refreshing, chilled salad for a meal. This place served me the MOST disgusting , warm , wilted salad I have ever gotten from a restaurant anywhere in the world. The greens must to have been sitting under the sun for hours on end before being thrown on that plate ! HORRIBLE experience...... More

We thought we had found a very good cafe, but when the food was served we found the salad not proberly washed, and half way through the salad I disovered two dead ladybirds between the leaves. The staff just ignored us when we told them about the problem, and they gave us the bill.. Full amount!! Not okay and really... More

There are days you're traveling in Argentina and the thought of another empanada or asado is too to much to bear. Bute is exactly what you need when you're looking for a change without too much fuss. Their menu is streamlined and tight. They leave the 101 menu options for the countless tourist options in town. Just a little taste... More
