unusual and scrumptious food beautifully paired with wine. one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.
A great place with lovely, friendly staff. We ate SO many winery lunches and rarely had room for dinner. One night, we just sat at bar here with a couple of quiet glasses of bubbles. Another night, we sat in the private cellar room and had a very light but delicious dinner (autumn salad) and wine. Both times, the staff... More
We went with high expectations--a local taxi did not know its location-had not heard of it !! Warmly received and taken to a most pleasant table. Menus were grubby--limited in overall choice---excellent service Price was acceptable--i would not be returning
So, we went to 7 cocinas on the recommendation of my dad as he had been there before while on business trips. So we all went there with him. The place was full and noisy. As someone reported they do not serve sodas, only wine and water. The waiter could not tell us what cocktails they could serve, he sent... More
Missis and I went to 7 cocinas for dinner last night. Not much of an exaggeration to say this was one of the nicest places I´ve eaten in in all of Argentina (Buenos Aires included). The restaurant is tastefully decorated with tables thoughtfully placed along windows. The ambience, especially in the right wing as you enter was quiet and relaxing.... More

If you like traditional cuisine, wherever you are, that´s the place for you. Chef Pablo del Rio is welcoming you in person, the traditional meals of seven regions are prepared in a big wooden owen. Thru a big window you can watch the chef´s job. Very tasty meals from starters till postres. Only the (for Argentina) very traditional beef asado... More
This place came as a recommendation and it lived up to all expectations. The atmosphere was really relaxing, the waiter was helpful and the steak was delicious in the chimichuri sauce. We were in Argentina for 3 weeks and all 4 of our group chose this as the best steak of the trip. Highly recommend.
On this particular restaurant located in an old house painted in white with wood floors and gardenia smell at the corner of Mitre and San Lorenzo in a beautiful neighborhood in downtown Mendoza, Chef Pablo del Rio brings ingredients of seven areas of Argentina transforming them into unforgettable dishes. Areas are NOA (argentine north east), cuyo (where Mendoza is located),... More
