Favorite meal in Mendoza with excellent wine selection!!!

Our family of 5 is traveling the world for 11 months. We rent homes and often cook for ourselves, but love food and have budgeted for splurges along the way. When in Mendoza we knew we wanted to sample some chef-created cuisine. Siete Cocinas certainly delivered! The most delightful element of this restaurant lies in its name: 7 kitchens. The... More

A rarity for Argentina, the service at Siete Cocinas is excellent - very attentive yet never intrusive. We both started with the Atlantic seafood and it was good but a bit clunky - only average seafood but fried perfectly and a huge portion, easily enough for two to share. My partner had the Patagonian lamb tortellini, which appeared more as... More

This was one of the best meals we had in Mendoza. The food was really interesting and made a change from steak.

I loved my dinner here. I have a gluten allergy and Chef Pablo personally came out to discuss what menu items I could eat, which was almost all of them except the Ravioli and he specially baked gluten free bread for me! I almost dyed the level of service and detail was so wonderful. Every dish was divine. I had... More

Renowned chef Pablo del Rio is one of Argentina’s most innovative chefs and he has created a totally unique restaurant in downtown Mendoza called Siete Cocinas. Translated is Seven Kitchens. Away from the typical Argentine Asado (barbeque meats), Pablo designed a menu of what is special about each region of Argentina. Seven Kitchens are the kitchens of these seven regions... More

Went there for the second time with friends who live in Mendoza and the six of us had excellent and delicious dishes: chivo asado, typical red meat and pasta, paired with a bottle of Malbec we brought to our dinner to celebrate my husband 's birthday. The service is not great, though. Only drawback I found.

We went here on the advice of the Park Hyatt Hotel. We arrived 8 minutes early (apparently the place opens at 8:30 but no signs were up), knocked on the closed doors and a pleasant associate opened the door and politely explained that the restaurant would be open soon. Then he closed the door and we retreated to a mid... More

I went here with my girlfriend and we got the seven course tasting menu. The meal was great, but a few hours afterwards we both got violently ill. I'd recommend this place if not for the food poisoning.
