Description: Ituzaingo is a close doors restaurant in the most bohemian neigbourhood from Mendoza. The building is a loft wich shows real mendocinean lifestyle. The atmosphere is very eclectic style and combines artistic expresions (paintings and sculptures). The food is mostly tradional Argentine Cuisine in a real gourmet style. Wines are from the personal cellar of the owner (no wine list). The phrase for our concept is:¨Ituzaingo is a restaurante but still a house, welcome.

The food and atmosphere was very good, and the owner and his staff were top notch. The cab driver didn't know that the address was a restaurant (or a closed door restaurant to be exact), and the neighborhood is a bit rough, but we had no problems. GO!

This was our second closed door restaurant, and this place is unfortunately a victim of high expectations placed by being the number 1 choice in Mendoza. The Ambiance - Absolutely fantastic. The best of the three closed options we visited. The inside is charming and the outside garden is perfect. They allow you to just wander around in the house... More

Visited last night, and had a lovely time. The host & staff were lovely as was the house. Met very nice & interesting people, all of whom spoke English (a huge plus for me ) however they were well educated people from far & wide. There was a choice of wine and main course - both delicious. I'm not big... More

After learning about the "closed" restaurant scene in Buenos Aires, then discovering several "closed" restaurants in Mendoza I decided to surprise my husband and our traveling companions with a booking at Ituzango. All three were most suspicious when the text pulled up outside the only lights above the door of any house in the street, remove ring to pull the... More

Wonderful food and a gracious host, who made every attempt to make my husband and me feel welcome, even with our base knowledge of Spanish. We were greeted with a cocktail and welcomed to our host's home. A slight while later, we were encouraged to choose a table in the garden. Given other description, we were slightly surprised to be... Everything that needs to be said about Ituzaingo has already been said by other reviewers -- the bottom line is that its a unique, fun, and delicious experience at a reasonable price. There's lots of good eating around Mendoza, just don't miss out on a night with Gonzalo while you are there.

After seeing all the positive reviews in this app, me and my girlfriend decided to go. Even though our expectations were high, the experience was even better. The concept is very special and fun, there are about 12 guests in the house. We actually all sit in the living room at the beginning of the evening and get to know... More

We came her per the suggestion of our concierge at the Park Hyatt and we are so happy she referred us here! It is a closed door restaurant and feels like you are dining at a friends house, with strangers (who may or may not drive you back to your hotel at the end of the night). Great food, great... More

We enjoyed Ituzaingo after a day of wine tasting and it was the perfect finish. The multi-course meal paired with more wine was amazing. My wife and I were showing our parents around Mendoza and this was the perfect finish to our time together in Mendoza. Amazing value for what you receive and an incredibly unique experience!

It was nice. We arrived. Offered a drink. Clearly a gringo entrance as the locals didnt fill the gaps till much later. Minimal attention from the host. He gravitated towards his friends (locals) all night. Food was ok. Again, nothing spectacular. Servers were apparently new, as was every other employee apart from the chef and host (offly coincidental, but clearly... More
