Ituzaingo is a close doors restaurant in the most bohemian neigbourhood from Mendoza. The building is a loft wich shows real mendocinean lifestyle. The atmosphere is very eclectic style and combines artistic expresions (paintings and sculptures). The food is mostly tradional Argentine Cuisine in a real gourmet style. Wines are from the personal cellar of the owner (no wine list). The phrase for our concept is:¨Ituzaingo is a restaurante but still a house, welcome.

We had an excellent dinner at Ituzaingo for NYE. The dishes were excellent and the company was even better. Gonzalo provides constant entertainment while providing great wine and great food. The steak and lasagne are not to miss. However, our favorite was the dolce de leche cheesesteak.

What a wonderful evening! The food, the wine, the hosts, and the company. Gonzales invites you into his home and treats you like family. He met us at the door and invited us to sit in his living room / restaurant, where we met other diners from around the world. The food was an amazing trip around Argentina. This is... More

There is a mysterious and magical sense to this unique dining experience. My high standards of dining excellence were well matched in both the creative and warm atmosphere, the creative and delicious courses served and the interesting and eclectic variety of people sharing the experience. Not to be missed!!!

I booked this restaurant so far in advance that I was a bit worried that Gonzalo might forget about us! He didn't and it was a lovely experience. We enjoyed meeting the diverse group of diners, the food was good, the wine was good and the atmosphere was lovely. Definitely worth trying this closed door restaurant!

We wanted to try the puerta cerrada restaurant concept while in Argentina and we were not disappointed. Gonzalo is a wonderful host and made all of us feel at home. I went with friends and met new friends there. The loft style house is super charming, the food is fantastic and really we felt like we were at a friend's... More

Wonderful atmosphere from the time you enter and are greeted by the owner, Gonzalo. His home and the food are very tastefully done. The courtyard is beautiful and the service is outstanding. It is very easy to meet and converse with other customers while appetizers and different pairings of white and rose wines are poured. Gonzalo's wine knowledge is vast... More

Excellent experience, Gonzalo is a great character. The concept is interesting and the house is lovely. Quite expensive for what it is, compared to other higher-end dining experiences locally. TAKES CASH ONLY

It is "a porte chiuse" restaurant and offers a different atmosphere. The seven steps's menu was perfect! It was a amazing experience and Gonzalo, the owner, is a very kind person.

The first good impression came as soon as you enter the spacious loft that houses the restaurant. The decoration is warm and welcoming, and our host, Gonzalo, receives the diners and introduces everyone, and proceeds to talk about the food and wines for that evening. There are 2 menu options, 4 and 7 courses, all made up of typical Argentinian... More
