Fantastic!

Came for dinner with 4 people. The hosts made us all quite comfortable. The other guests were so pleasant that we chose to join our tables. The dinner was fantastic. Atmosphere was just right. Wine selection was quite good. All in, a tremendously positive experience.

The experience as other reviewers have pointed out was outstanding. The food served over 7 courses was restaurant quality, but what really made this experience was the hosts and the opportunity to get to share the meal with other diners while finding out a little about them. The atmosphere was really welcoming, the price point was what you get was... More

There is a lot to praise at Ituzaingo. The venue is incredibly warm and it feels like you're visiting your best friend because by the end of the evening, Gonzalo will feel like a good old friend. The communal pre-dinner aperiif and the sharing of experiences and backgrounds was also a great experience. The food was very good too but... More

You have to try a closed door restaurant while in Mendoza. We ate at Ituzaingo, based on the TrioAdvisor recommendations, and it lived up to the excellent reviews. You are basically eating a fabulous meal in someone's private home, that they turned onto an intimate restaurant. This place reminded me of a riad where the interior space is a courtyard... More

If you looking for a different experience outside the main stream of the restaurants in Mendoza, you should take a visit to Ituzaingo, one of the best experiences I had in a private restaurant, specially the attention Gonzalo Cuervo gives to you, the place, the food, the wines, the dogs, the people, every thing is amazing in this restaurant! cheers!

This was our favorite night in Mendoza! Gonzalo, our host, made us feel right at home. His home was quaint and chic. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the wine selection broad enough to fit any taste and budget. It was like being at a friend's dinner party and getting to meet their friends... More

Yes, itś a closed door restaurant, but do yourself a favor and sign up for their amazing cooking class. I arrived at 5:00 p.m., and was greeted by charming host, Gonzalo, with a glass of wine. The house itself is gorgeous, with lovely art and decor and open spaces that transition into the lovely courtyard outside. Mater Chef, Martin led... More

Great food, great wine and amazing hospitality (as other reviews have noted) and unique experience but make sure you book ahead, even if it's only two of you. The restaurant fills up quickly and was booked for the next two weeks when we visited. An absolute must do when you're in Mendoza.

Ituzaingo was a really nice experience. We had a ceviche as an appetizer, empanadas as the first course, a salad afterwards, a selection between white salmon, vegetable lasagna and a filet mignon as a maincourse, and a (i think) orange pancakes with a dulce de leche creme on top of a brownie. First we recieved a glass of spankling wine,... More
