The local definitely doesn't serve the best ice cream I have had in Argentina. They weren't creamy and soft like the other ice cream I've tried in the country. And the staff wasn't very friendly to us.

We went on a bit of a tasting mission and found that Ferruccio Soppelsa's ice cream is good but no match to Perin - which happens to be just on the opposite street corner. So for quality, I recommend Perin (albeit slightly pricier). Ferruccio Soppelsa's main drawing card is the seating, however - it has both inside and outside ample... More

We were three people trying different flavours and we loved them all. Nice service, clean and beautiful place to sit. Would definately go back!

Have just been here once and tried the Maracuya and the Frambuesa and it was among some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted.

We came to Ferruccio Soppelsa because we'd heard how good the ice cream was, but in our experience the ice cream was not good at all - the favors are very muted. We were told it wasn't possible to have our ice cream served in a cup and afterwards saw two people eating ice cream out of a cup. The... More

Off the main plaza - convenient and solid. I enjoyed the dulce de leche ice cream there. If go back.

This is one of the highlights of my visits to Argentina and this ice cream does not disappoint! Great ice cream with wine and whiskey flavors!

The ice creams are really nice, different flavors, just are not really creamy and airy, like italian gelato.

Try a new flavor--be brave! There are flavors you will never see anywhere else but Argentina. There are often specials on the sundaes in the winter. If you're invited for a meal, a kilo of Soppelsa is a great thing to bring with you. You can get 3 flavors in the tub. Tramontana is always a favorite.

It was "sold" sold to us like "the best ice-cream in Mendoza" and reality was far from that. Taste and texture was ok but nothing our of this world. I had the "special dulce de leche" (I don't remember the exact name). I couldn't find any of the extra ingredients that made it special. Give it a miss and give... More
