I am a passionate red wine connaisseur. If you like wine the way I do, the trip to Mendoza Wine Region of Argentina is a must. Even if you don't drink wine it should be, at least, on your "bucket list". The winery, like most wineries in Mendoza, renders it's unique, own experience. It is closely related to the restaurant,... O'Fournier, in Valle de Uco,has all the futuristic look and coolness of a James Bond movie! It's vast open space vineyard with the backdrop of the Andes almost looks surreal. The silver-polished wine vats look like space ships. It looks like you could eat off of the floor!

We were very well welcome by the Guide Abgail. In addition to the facilities, there is an art gallery, a wine shop. In the award winning Urban restaurant where we could pairing vegetarian dishes!! So delicious and unique! Each of the menus is made up of six steps. There is a fusion of Argentine and Mediterranean-Spanish cultures, perfectly matching with... More

A huge surprise as this was included a wine tour package. Following a trip round the ultra modern winery we sat in the glass encased eating house with out of this world views of the Andes. Food was as good as any other fine dining experience I had and when matched to the wine from the vineyard was outstanding. Service... More

Some 4 years ago we ate at O'Fournier and had an absolutely wonderful meal. I returned recently and had a most disappointing experience. Each of the courses was bland and unappealing. Service was inattentive and perfunctory. We asked several times for water and only received half glasses. We constantly had to request refills for wine. Asking for chimichurri, we received... More

I had arranged a private wine tour in Uco Valley and, as part of it, the tour included a fixed menu lunch at O'Fournier. What an amazing experience. You are presented with four different wines to taste, along with an appetizer, main course and dessert. I started with a very interesting appetizer that featured fresh vegetables and a poached egg... Huge, exellent lunch. Solid wine tasting at the mid-price level. One of the most technical, innovative wineries I have ever visited, and a tour hosted by the owner himself. High on my list of recommended winery lunches.

What a meal! We had reservations for a late lunch (3pm) and were there all alone for the amazing 6 course luncheon paired with wines. Floor to ceiling glass .... such a beautiful view of the Andes reflected in the water surrounding the restaurant. It's a little out of the way but well worth the trip. Don't miss this place!!!

The winery is spectacularly theatrical, even though it would have been nice to be led by somebody more involved in wine making. The dining room, absolutely stunning, with incredible views of the vineyards and the snowy mountains as a background. They serve you four or five dishes or pasos; the first one, a very generic foam creation (high time chefs... More
