Traditional place in a well located corner of downtown Mar del Plata. No luxury, very noisy, somewhat crowded, but... excellent italian food and argentinean desserts. Experience the sorrentinos (filled with cheese) with pesto. Perfect portions (for one). Dessert: flan or "budin de pan" (bread pudding), both with "dulce de leche" (milk jam). Ask for the house wine. Cheap and awful. It exists for the last 40 years. If you want to eat properly don't go here, except your budget is limited.

The menu features a variety of dishes, all of which fall, more or less, within the standard repertoire of Argentine cuisine. I ordered a chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers and bacon and a side... More

If your budget is tight, well, go to a supermarket and buy your own food, but eating at Montecatini, or "La Jirafa Azul", or "Brasero" is for people like Homer Simpson. If you are the kind of swallower that doesn´t care about taste, hygiene and... More
