Very typical Argentinian restaurante

This was maybe my fifth visit to El Palacio. My waiter today is a 40 years veteran. Owners are not the same as before. Quality is as previous visits, prices are pretty fair. Man, a NY steak, first quality Grass Feed meat, for $15'bucks, and a great Malbec for $ 8, is a deal you can... read more

I may be being generous giving them a three. We ordered a Parilla of rinhones to start and two top steaks as the main courses. The rinhones never arrived. The steaks were ordered medium rare and arrive unevenly cooked, part almost medium rare and part medium or medium well. The vegetables (asparagus, mushrooms, and spinach) were all canned, certainly not... More

We used this restaurant with family and friends, nine of us. Every one enjoyed their food, wine, service and ambiance. Four of us had the large T Bone, which when they arrived, we weren't sure if we should climb them or hang a flag on it - it was enormous! This has to be some of the best meat I... More

Palacio del Bife lives up to its name: the steak is delicious! Juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked -- and complemented by crispy Argentinian fries. Other options that we tasted were also excellent: salmon with spinach sauce; and stuffed pasta. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the place caters to a local clientele (not touristy). It is family-friendly, but there is... More

Typical Argentinean restaurant with the usual choices and service, but one of the best Bife de Chorizo I had in Argentina. Soft, tender, cooked to perfection, very tasty ! We arrived around noon and the restaurant was empty, but soon it started to get full.

My friends and I had a fabulous meal here - very generous portions, great service, fresh bread. The pasta is home made and is delicious! The service was also fantastic, we will definitely be returning!

My wife Consuelito and I went to enjoy the beaches of Mar del Plata and the hot weather in Bs Aires, but in our minds was savoring the famous argentine meat . •Tip : Restaurants in Mar del Plata/Bs Aires close between 3:00-8:00 pm . We checked different places and none pleased us, until a concierge in our hotel recommend... More
