I went to Sarasanegro based on Tripadvisor comments and was not disappointed. I was so motivated I booked for second service at 11pm as restaurant was full before (on a saturday evening) ! The 5 course menu was worth it (carpaccio of sole, risotto with calamars, merluza a la plancha on fenel, a choice of two cheese with 2 types... More

Awesome service, very intimate atmosphere, and best of all: food that will tantalize the most pressing tastebuds. This is NOT your average Argentinian cuisine. They are exploring new territories and doing it well. Can't afford to visit Mar del Plata and not visit. BTW, they offer some of the freshest seafood in MDP. Totally worth it — enjoy!

Finally I found restaurant that goes out of the 15/20 dishes circuit repeated tirelessly till' the absolute boredom in every single restaurant in Argentina! This is a good quality restaurant as you may find in any big and trendy city all over the world. Nice but simple setting. Cared service. Good and fresh local ingredients, but what stands on this... The restaurant staff, the food and the price point exceptional. We had the 5 course tasting meal with a bottle of Malbec. The meal was followed by a tour of their wine cellar and a parting gift. If you can only go to one restaurant during your stay, make it this one.

The ambience is great, food wonderful but the staff are the winners here. We arrived very early and enquired about a local bar we could go to wait and were immediately taken downstairs to the cellar with a glass of fizz and advised that there was not a lo of options in the area, which we verified later. Excellent restaurant, lovely friendly service, they couldn't do enough to make us feel special. Menu and wine recommendations simply perfect. I can wait to go back again, one of the best meals I have had in any country

We went back to Sarasanegro after sometime and we renewed our good past experience. Its a pitty the cellar is not open for smokers any more due to local regulations. The 5 course tasting menu was superb.

Excellent menu Great service. Owners/chef make great suggestions and look after you. Unusual combination of ingredients and flavors for Mar del Plata. Beautiful decor. Away from normal gastro districts
