Nice, pleasingly unchanged, wood and tile interior on a street corner in San Telmo. A sadly limited range of beers although the Quilmes was cold and refreshing. We didn't eat here though the food, as it passed by, looked good enough. Service was a little slow as it was fairly quiet. I think the atmosphere would have been good if... More

We liked this place well enough to come back twice. Empanadas were best we had in Buenos Aires. All of the chef's specials we tried (steak & pasta) were excellent. Cold Quilmes on tap and large wine servings. Service is at Argentinian pace (though I love the staff), but they serve full meals at non Argentinian times (adjusting to late... More

My husband and I went in to this restaurant looking for calamari. I needed a change from all the steak! The menu at the door had calamari and the interior looked cute/romantic, so we sat down. There were others in the restaurant, but they weren't hectic busy. I don't know what was wrong with our waitress. She was quite disinterested... More

We ended up at Bar Seddon after a full day in San Telmo on our trip in May. The restaurant bar is eclectically unique with the ever-present ice-cold Quilmes on tap. We also had a Fernet and Coke here, which was great. Clearly we sat here for awhile. We also ordered a meat and cheese plate which, although wasn't super... More

Post the San Telmo Sunday market we stumbled across this restaurant. Staff were great and accommodated swapping parts of the meat dishes for vegetables. Great atmosphere, great value of money. Definitely recommend this place.

Went in for pizza, should have gone across the street. The ambiance was nice but the pizza dough was processed. Across the street had a real pizza oven. Anyhow, price was right, 7.60$ for a big pie, was still quite good and the wine was good as well. Service was great, nice server who spoke english.

my friend and i were browsing the sunday street market on defensa and stumbled upon this place at the corner. we were going to try some other place but came here instead because some of the other tourists seemed enthusiastic about the place. the bar itself definitely has some character, and the menu seemed fairly standard for an argentine joint.... We had lunch a couple of times after we'd browsed the San Telmo Sunday market and listened to the music. It's a bar with great character, minimal renovation from its original which maintains the atmosphere. Good service, good beer and the food (picada etc) better than its more famous competition nearby.

Just on the corner near the San Telmo luxury suites. Tall ceilings, open windows, lots of wood. Had a great meal there, good steak and not too large a portion. Recommended.
