Excellent food and service.

You'll find the best combination between great food, top service and price. I recommend this as much as I always want to go back.

We had dinner at La Parolaccia and it was excellent. The service and the ambience were by far a highlight for the dinner. Norberto was very attentive. We ordered the carpaccio di manzo to start. We also had the Risotto with arugula and parmesan, which was excellent. For our entrees we had chicken with lemon sauce and chicken with demi-glaze.... More

La Parolaccia was highly recommenced to us before leaving the U.S. by a native Argentinian. We were not disappointed. We made a reservation for 8:00 ( a little early for the locals) and were seated immediately at a nice window seat overlooking the harbor. My wife said the lasagne was the best she has ever had (and she makes a... More

Great Italian restaurant in Puerto Modero along the river. The food kept coming and it was all fabulous! We had a party of 15 and they were so accomodating and attentive. It was packed and still going strong with patrons coming in when we left at 10:30 PM. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

We walked along the Puerto Madero waterfront looking for a light dinner. This place was very busy which is usually a good sign. It got great reviews on TA which in my opinion were overly complimentary. Food was fair at best. Greasy fried zucchini, terrible, gloppy Caesar salad and ok Penne arrabiata. Nice wine but there are way better places... More

This was one of the best surprises on our trip. Italian food in Argentina is actually very very bad. We actually suspected that this place, which got rave reviews here on Tripadvisor, was a tourist trap. Boy, were we wrong! The salads and homemade pastas were really good. We tasted one with tomato sauce and fresh shrimps and the other... More

Very traditional restaurant in Puerto Madero, we have eaten there many times though the years. Great pasta dishes, any choice will be an experience of good quality and taste. The “Antipasti” is a very interesting starter (to share). The bread basket is full of nice and different flavours, worth trying all of them! The deserts are also very good.

We love going there, because of the very nice atmosphere and the very good and sympathetic service. That is our main reason to quite regularly go there!!

If you want to experience a true Italian restaurant, La Parolaccia is guarantee of sustained quality, wonderful flavors, careful service, and excellent wine menú. Try the Black raviolis with saumon or the spinach crepes. The desserts are equally outstanding, being the tiramisu very good. Coffee comes with nice. Sweet delicatessen. And the lemoncello is a worthy close for your lunch... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
