There are just too many options along the stroll thru the port to sttle for this one. Sorrento is better and Marcelo probablynthe best Italian in town. Food took forever and we were the 12pm early birds for lunch. Service in BsAs is expected to be bad and there is no surprise here. Waiter's attitude was deplorable.

We sat on the back patio hoping to have a nice view and quiet experience at noon. Unfortunately unwanted visitors -pigeons- flew all over the place and landed on the tables where other customers will later eat. The food wasn't great either; my fried calamari arrived almost cold and dessert was disappointed.

My wife and I both ordered steaks. We waited about 40mins for the food to be brought out and sadly both steaks were very, very overcooked and dry, the sides we received were not what we had ordered and the sauces were average at best. The wine was mediocre. Having been to a great restaurant the night before we were... More

I have been coming herr since 2002. You can see people lined up waiting to get a seatbat 1:30 AM on a Sunday morning. For the town that never sleeps, this is the best Italian in Buenos Aires.

Outstanding Italian restaurant, with very big selection of dishes from all regions of Italy. Be careful not to order too mush food here, as the portions are huge! Excellent wine list, with a very fine house Cabernet Sauvigon and a fine house Malbec. Delightful views out over the river. Be sure to ask for a table near the window, which... More

Staff was very friendly but to be honest I did not like the taste of my gnocchi. The location is great and the tables and surrounding looks amazing. And I have seen a lot of families also with children which is great! Absolutely family friendly (even during the late evening).

Is very good. I usually go to eat pasta . The service is excellent, with no surprises. It is the safe choice to eat good pasta in Buenos Aires. Good price - quality. Very good bread, good wine list, and in general all its branches are very neat and well staged. Recommended. The best: souffle gnocchi di spinaci "

Very nice location, warm ambient, the food is very good and the tables next to the river side have an excellent view. The price / quality relation is quite good, even though it may be expensive for tourists due to the exacting rate of the moment. But compared with other restaurants it has very fair prices.

Great option in Puerto Madero. Great environment, looking to the water from the terrace. They have the Lunch Menu with excelent options with entree, main course and you can choose coffee or dessert. Excellent options. I always come back everytime I am working in Buenos Aires.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
