Loved it!

My sister and I decided to have a super special lunch in our last day in Buenos Aires and we chose well. Even though a bit pricey it was worth it. The ambience was rustic and a touch of modern comfort with plenty of space between the tables. The Somelier was very knowledgeable about the large... read more

The first time I went, very nice attention, the food is very very good, try the mollejas, the Ojo the bife. Mushrooms, a Broccoli, rice very nice. I found it to expensive. But is en puerto madero so is because of the location.

I was with a big party, with not a lot of time to eat, because we had to head to work directly after dinner, but wow was it amazing. The steak was simply incredible. Great taste and melted onto my tongue. The waiter paired a classic red wine with my meal and I couldn't have been more happier with the... More

We ate here after a longish walk and we weren't dressed for eating in a smart restaurant but no-one seemed to mind and we enjoyed looking at all the fancily dressed expense account diners. We had lunch at an outside table and it was wonderful as it's such a peaceful setting in this mad city. The menu is extensive and... More

Our first night in Argentina was spent at this restaurant, based on a recommendation from a friend. It was near the water and only a 15 minute cab ride from our hotel in Recolletta. We had Argentinian steaks with a bottle of Malbec. Great ambiance. Pretty people. Very impressed.

Steaks were very tasty, one of the bests we have ever had. Service was perfect and fast. Waitress chose a wine, which was just our taste. Though expensive for BA standards, it is worth the money.

Traditional restaurant with plenty of options of meat. Good view to Puerto Madero. Good service. Prices were higher than I expected though. A good experience, but not amazing.

Tourist rip-off. They are in cahoots with hotel receptionists and taxi drivers, who will get a commission for taking you there. This is common in many places, but in this one the price is also higher.

You can lunch or dine here a thousand times, and it would seem you always eat from the same cow, because quality stays always superb. You should try the turnovers (empanadas), as well as the sausages (chorizo). Tip: if you have a good steak, you can bypass dessert if you will drink coffee, as coffee comes with interesting petit four....

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
