Best meat place in Argentina

Best beef place ever! The decoration is good, the environment as well. The service is excellent and you will find a lot of courtesy. The bread and the things are served before the meal is expensive though. Ojo de bife and Bife de Chorizo are the best options in the house. Save some money to spend... read more

Service was slow and not friendly. Surprising considering the amount of staff. Wine menu was huge but very pricy. Price of meal itself was over twice more that we have had at other restaurants for less food. 2 steaks a salad and small bottle of wine (500cc) £110 (approx $175 U.S.). To put it in context I would pay less... More

This restaurant used to be phenomenal: it just got to be outrageously expensive and service is not what it used to be. If you are going to stay just one day in Buenos Aires, this is your place. If you have time... there are many alternatives that make more sense. So.. it would get a five with better service and... More

We went here upon the recommendation of the hotel concierge. When we were seated, a platter consisting of a small piece of fish, some jamon, blue cheese butter & another item was placed in the middle of the table with bread, which we enjoyed. Upon receipt of the bill at the end, we found out that we were charged $35... More

Ate here twice during a one week business trip to Buenos Aires. It was so good the first time that we just had to go back for our last night. Overall it was quite pricey but thoroughly enjoyable. Loved the starters which were included in the cover charge. The cheese bread was delicious. Both times I had the half medallion... More

Great wines and steaks, intimate scenery dim lights. Several cuts of steaks to choose from and enjoy. Touristy.

On our 'bucket list' we Promised ourselves a super steak with Malbec in Argentina. Although the restaurant (as others have said) was full of tourists and business people, this didn't detract from the service / food / experience. I wouldn't have said dress code was formal - some people in jeans others in suits. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and... More

If you're looking for the epic steak dinner experience, you'll love this place. Lots of choices of beef cuts and deep red Malbecs to pair with your steak. The servers bring tasty appetizers to start your meal and swing by with lemoncello and ouzo at the end. You won't be disappointed.

This was my first meal in Argentina and it lived up to every expectation I had for food. Now unfortunately it was the night before elections so there was no alcohol being served but it would have taken away from the flavor of the food. It was absolutely incredible. We sat outside where we could view the water and feel... More

Steak aficionado here, family has cattle ranch in Texas. Their filet was probably one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Service was very good with attentive staff. Pricey but not crazy expensive, 5 diners with round of cocktails and 2 bottles $80 wine and we walked for around $550 U.S. I will not hesitate to visit on my... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
