GREAT LOCATION, GREAT VIEW ON THE WATER, GOOD FOOD, PRICEY

The aspects that are really impressive of this TOP END restaurant are the Great Service and the great location (In the heart of Puerto Madero) and excellent view. It is a little bit pricey, even for Argentina standards. The meat is very good, and I would really recommend the "Ojo de Bife" cut... read more

We sat outside by the water which could not have been better. Lots of waiters and waitresses sometimes made things confusing. It seemed new things, tray of some appetizer food, bread, oil, salt, etc were being put on our table every minute. The wine that was recommended was very good, but expensive (~$30 USD). I found the same bottle of... More

Not knowing which cut of beef to have I opted for the short ribs thinking this would be something different than the steak served elsewhere in Buenos Aires. It was not a slow cooked tender short rib as in the US but a tough strip of rib I would normally trim and toss away when butchering beef. It was quickly... More

Visited Las Lilas for my birthday during our stay in Buenos Aires. Had researched the best steak places and chose Las Lilas because of it's location with views of the water and the generally positive reviews. Also when we booked they said they give free sparkling wine and down birthday cake for occasions. Had a lovely evening there but overall... More

My wife and I came here based on her experience on a prior trip. We were well ahead of the dinner crowd and enjoyed a table on outside and on the water. After reviewing the menu we decided to simply order a bottle of wine and appetizer (turning away the mixed plate that was already on the table, and not... More

Nice setting overlooking the port. It's a little pricey but to be expected when your dining in this area. Had the Entraña with the papas purée. The cover charge of about eight dollars per person included a assortment of bread, salmon, prosciutto, some really nice goat cheese and fresh mozzarella. As far as service goes they were on top of... This place has a nice atmosphere with a good view. We had the rib-eye, which was cooked well and flavourful but nothing especially spectacular. Out of the side dishes, the mushrooms were the best. The Argentinian Malbec wine recommended by the waiter was very good.

I am a meat lover, and this place is probably the best one for meat. In general Argentina is well known by the meat and the wine, but this place really makes the difference

This is a good restaurant as many in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, it is very, very, overpriced. The quality of the service and the food is great but they do overcharge you for it.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
