This restaurant was excellent in every way, ambiance, food, service. Excellent steak and wine. A great place to dine whether a casual evening out or a celebration. Definitely one of the best of our two week trip to Argentina.

If you want good meat, this is an excellent place. We had two kinds of meat, fried potatoes and wine. Everything cooked perfectly. The waiting staff was very gentle, but not that fast. Between the obelisk and the congress.

It's a very old restaurant. Waiters are experienced and seldom change. Meat is superb as is wine list. Locals love it. Always busy but you can get a table most of the time as it's huge. Been there many times after a show. Never been disappointed.

We selected this restaurant based on a recommendation in our guide book. We shared a Roquefort salad for appetizers with greens, balsamic pear in red wine sauce, caramalized nuts, huge chunks of roquefort cheese - really quite spectacular and very tasty. For the main courses, we selected the lasagna del chef which was good but quite filling, and the fetuccini... More

Nice restaurant with wide offer of Argentinean meat. It is not cheap, but the food is excellent and the place has a cozy atmosphere. It is worth the visit!

Great ambiance and very fast service offering excellent argentinean meat . Amazingly the waiters speak perfect english and the menu is also translated , making it easier to choose . The deco is very typical too , creating a very traditional ambiance. Good service and good prices too.

My 4th visit to Buenos Aries, staying again at Savoy hotel, which makes Chequilin my neighborhood place to eat. We stopped by with my friend for a late lunch on March 8, 2014. Well, while having some Spanish behind your belt definitely helps for browsing the menu, the wine list and ordering, it is not a must here: English menu... More

This is my 7th visit to Buenos Aires, but I hadn't heard of Chiquilin until now. It was recommended to me by a driver who lived in this neighborhood since he was a child. I really liked that it seemed to be full of locals. The service was really outstanding. I ordered an empanada, that was really good, and a... More
