I had a very good experience in Red restaurant. The waitresses are very kind, the food is awesome in terms of visual composition and flavors. Go ahead and ask for something local such as bife chorizo with molleja or even mini empanadas. Prices are ok, a little bit short in infusion/teas options.

My dad and I visited BA last year and we stayed at Hotel Madero, so for convenience reasons we decided to give its restaurant a try; we liked it so much that ended repeating the experience the next night, asking for a different degustation menu. The place itself is stylish but not snob, with friendly service, reasonable prices and, of... More

This restaurant is inside the Hotel Madero. I was staying there, so decided to give it a try. It's a modern restaurant, with a good selection of dishes and wine. The presentation of the food is very nice, and the service is impeccable. I found it to be a little more expensive than the other restaurants in the area, but... More

We booked the special Christmas Eve dinner there and had a disappointing experience. We had not arrived in Buenos Aires when we made the booking but had previously eaten in Red and had enjoyed the food and experience. From the outset, the whole effort lacked professionalism. We received an email document with request to forward all our credit card details... More

This was our first visit to the Red Restó & Lounge, and are already planning a reprisse. The service was 100% profesional, the food was first class. The only minor problema was a slightly long wait for our car (some 20 minutes). It is not usual in Buenos Aires to receive this type of service and quality ina restaurant belonging... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat in the Micro Center and ran across this very small café. The waitress saw us looking at the menu and did a sales job to get us to come in. We were not disappointed. The waitress spoke very good English and was very helpful to us. We both had the special of the... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
