Delicious Food!

Great food, great vibes! This is a small restaurant, very cozy. The service was friendly. I went on a rainy night, before 9:00pm, so I didn't have to wait for a table. Great dining experience!

Not particularly cheap, but very pleasant lunch with good steak and decent (inevitably) Malbec. Helpful staff and a freebie limoncello make it a good place to while away part of a rainy afternoon.

This was a really special find. A very small intimate bar/restaurant. It had a great atmosphere, and was always very busy, but the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The wine and the food on the several occasions we ate there was outstanding. Highly recommended and would definitely head back there whenever I was in Buenos Aires again.

Looking for something for lunch near the hotel we find this small restaurant which turned out to be very good. It was quite full, so I thought I had to be good and not wrong. A very friendly girl we attended and recommended the fish special of the day which was great. The service was good, food dessert and coffee.... More

Visited Dada last night and was hugely disappointed. The place looks cool and attracts a funky crowd. Unfortunately, it is very poorly managed. We made a reservation and waited over 70 minutes for our table. We asked for help and the manager kept telling us would be 5 minutes before. He showed little concern for the delay and felt entitled... More

We were looking for a place that serves food for my boyfriend that was really hungry and myself something lighter and few drinks just to relax around 10.30 PM. We were on vacation and didn't want anything to crazy but at the same time a nice place with some music to talk and relax. I found this place on trip... More

This wee restaurant has wonderful service, great food and a decidedly different character from most places in BA. On a weeknight it was the only restaurant with more than a couple of tables occupied, so we figured it had to be good. It certainly was!!! We came back twice more, could not get in on a Saturday, and was packed... More

This was a highlight of our visit, apart from the beef in BA which is to die for, we found the rest of the food in restaurants disappointing. But this place was above everything we had tried, everything had a lot of taste, and they have really good wines and beers. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Funky and fun, one of our favorite lunch bars in BA. Situated just down Calle San Martin from the Galerias Pacifico mall and Calle Florida, Dada Bistro is great bar to pop in for a beer or a glass of wine. We have had lunch there several times and always enjoyed the food and vibe. It does get crowded at... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
