We found this restaurant amidst a cluster located under a road overpass, near our hotel in Recoleta. Hungry after a late arrival near midnight, this place was the only one open. Large, pleasant and nearly empty, we had attentive service but the menu contains mostly the standard BA meat and potatoes food. The best choices we found were the salads,... More

Everyone knows Argentina is famous for it's beef but you really have to know how to prepare and they do!! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would recommend it

This place was recommended by our hotel. Steaks are really good. We had the filet mignon of 600gr which we shared in two and it was delicious! Side dishes and sauces need to be ordered separately. The French fries Provençal are great with plenty of garlic and parsley!

This is a cut above many restaurants in the city, very good food and excellent service into the bargain. We had goat and steak and it was very good. Not so sure I like the half litre bottles of wine - not compulsory - I suppose it's OK if you are not a drinker. Overall, I thought this had almost... More

Firstly, I should say we sat upstairs which is a mistake as the ceiling is very low because the restaurant is located under a road and the decor and layout are dated. Something called spinach balls were brought gratis that were bland and unpalatable. The bife de lomo was very flavoursome and soft. Clearly, we are in meat country but... More

The first plates are all good, especially the spinach balls, The meat - lomo and bife de chorizo, always cooked as one likes. Accompanying saladas, potatoes, etc. wonderful. Pancakes too sugary for me, but worth a try. Very good wine list, heavy on Malbecs. Well worth a visit!

First off please understand that high end steak houses in Buenos Aires are no cheaper than high end steak houses in the U.S. El Mirasol was not only the best steak we had, the service was better and the prices were also better (than other high end steak houses). It is in an odd location under an overpass, but do... More

We loved the restaurant! Great wine selection of course we ordered a Malbec. I had beef tenderloin and it melted in my mouth . You don't get anything with your meat order but you have several menu options to choose from to accompany your meal . I had ensalada verda and fries that were cooked with garlic and parsley ....
