Good but not great

Like most upscale, Argentinian steak houses, the steak here was very good, and unlike some, a medium steak came pink in the middle rather than raw. So they certainly know how to cook them. Having said that, overall it was down the list of restaurants we visited during the week. Fervor, Le Sud, and... read more

We were recommend this restaurant by our rep and he was right to recommend it. It was our first night in BA so we dined early and got a table very easily, most Argentinians don't eat till after 9pm. The service was fantastic, lots of well turned out staff and all very helpful. We had a fantastic bottle of melbac... More

Great local atmosphere. Greeted by the owner and mad to feel at home. One of the best Steaks i have had. Reasonabley priced. Very Pleased to have found it.

Busy and lively restaurant full of locals. We managed to get in as Sofitel rang for us but booking is recommended. Nevertheless after a short wait, softened by a free glass of 'champagne' we enjoyed a delicious steak meal .

I orderd the filet, which was quite large but very tasty. Also indulged in some wine. It's a must! I was a little disappointed in the bread pudding. It had more the consistency of flan, and wasn't what I was expecting. Otherwise, very good!

Despite the fact that I consider this place an overpriced, and overrated "parrilla" in Buenos Aires, again, after many years, I find insects in the salad. In this case small worms. Disgusting, and unacceptable. It was in the middle of a job-business meeting and I just had to put the salad away and ignore this, and go on with the... More

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant. We ordered the 1000gr. Baby Steak and asked to have it cut for both of us. My portion was O.K. but my husband's was mostly fat! I shared my portion with him, so we paid for 1000gr. and got to eat only 250 gr. each.

4 of us had dinner here and it was very good. We spilt a stark amongst 3 of us. It was delicious. We ordered what we thought were fried potatoes but got potato chips . We fixed that by ordering some fries. The grilled veggies were good. Deserts were excellent and the wine was good. The place was filled .... More

We asked our hotel for a restaurant within walking distance that was open for dinner at 6:00 PM. They recommended El Mirasol. We walked there and were the 4th occupied table at the time (again proving that Americans are early eaters). We perused the ample menu and were advised by our neighboring table not to miss the French fries Provençal.... More
