Good Food and View but Service could be better

Lovely restaurant with view to Puerto Madero, but the service could be better. Rude attendance. I tried a dish with fish and the food was delicious and very well presented.

On arrival to the restaurant you can read a message in Italian: "If you had a bad meal say it inside, if you had a good meal say it outside". Well, we had a bad meal and told the waiter - the carpaccio was served with stale olive oil, the grilled langostinos were uneatable - burnt with a bad taste... More

I was told to go to the other restaurant of the same name. But went into this address by mistake. The other house has wider windows and it's quite close to this. They make sea food pasta and regular pasta too. To garantee a table by the window make a reservation. The view of Puerto Madero is fantastic. I ordered... More

Everything here was great! The best calamari I have ever had! All the pasta dishers were great, you cannot go wrong. We had PAZ Malbec with our meal and it was perfect (and reasonably priced). For dessert try the Italian Crepe...it is womderful. Caramelized crepe with sauce and gelato. Perfect finish to the meal. Coffee was very good as well.... More

Wow! I just don't get the high rating. Went here for lunch based on recommendation from lonely planet and had a terrible experience. We were four and all ordered different items from the lunch menu and not one dish was good. For starters extremely over cooked limp asparagus, a Caesar salad drowning in Carsar mayonnaise and old tasting deep fried... More

Went on a recommendation from a colleague, along with 5 other colleagues. Service good, wine good but found the food fairly bland. I had lasagne which was lukewarm, one colleague had pasta in tomato sauce which could've been rustled up with a jar of passatta, overall we all agreed that the food was tasteless. Would not return

Nice atmosphere and very dedicated staff. The pasta is the best in Buenos Aires. I will go again soon.

This restaurant has style and the chefs know how to cook! We had grilled gambas, great cooking point, al pil pil and plain grilled and a caprese salad as starters. Sauce and cooking point of both shrimp dishes were really high class and the caprese was just good. For mains we had a spaghetti al fruit di mare, risotto de... More

Beautiful and elegant dining. Mid afternoon lunch was amazing. Good selection of excellent Argentine wines. Prices were very reasonable for beautifully prepared and presented food., Staff were attentive and helpful with our poor Spanish. They all made us feel like we were the most important people that had eaten in the restaurant that day... what a lovely introduction to this... More

Thoughtful service, wonderful food (delicious lasagna) in an attractive location. Note that it is a sunken restaurant, below street level, so not for those who fear enclosed places.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
