We had as starters to share tomato and buffalo mozzarella and carpaccio with parmigianno. The first dish was of average quality, the tomato did not have much taste, the mozzarella was utterly poor quality. The carpaccio by contrast was very good, the quantity very little. As main dish we both had the bife de lomo with mustard sauce, the most... More

This was the best Italian restaurant we went to in Buenos Aires. We had lunch and dinner here both were great. The best steak I had in Argentina surprised me. Pasta is house made the wine list is exactly what you'd expect great.

In Argentina it is easy to find great steaks, but Sottovoce offers great italian food that is more than a slab of meat. The wine list is extensive and sommelier does a great job suggesting a bottle that goes with your selection. Reservations highly recommended.

We walked from our hotel on Cordoba St to the Puerto Madero area along the river. Many restaurants lined the river. The menu along the river was readable. We wanted Italian. We had enough beef. We were early and no one was around. The weather was nice so we sat outside. A negative, we were bothered by beggars. I ordered... More

Ok, so it's not going to be the best Italian food you've ever eaten, but is pretty damn nice and we had fun, one of the owners and the 4 staff that came back and forth to the table over the night were all great. A lot of the guests get dressed up, i mean suits, nice dresses, so it's... More

Our reservation was at 10:15 pm and had to wait over an hour in the street... Part of the group left the place.

We have been coming here for years during our visits to BA. Last night, however, we had an exceptional pasta tasting meal with friends. I think tasting and sharing different dishes here is the way to go, since the dishes are flavorful and intense. Try the Luca Chardonnay, excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed, the Maitre D had flawless English and made us feel warm and welcome. This is more of an Italian restaurant then Argentinian but they did serve a wonderful meal of Argentinian beef. The rabbit was also succulent. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a great place to eat in B.A. One good tip is that waiters speak English and there is some translation in the menu. They receive you with a complimentary champagne glass. The pasta is made fresh daily in the restaurant and they have great choices for appetizers. I tried the polenta with shrimp and it was great. I... More
