This is a great place to eat in B.A. One good tip is that waiters speak English and there is some translation in the menu. They receive you with a complimentary champagne glass. The pasta is made fresh daily in the restaurant and they have great choices for appetizers. I tried the polenta with shrimp and it was great. I... More

Had dinner some time ago with a friend. Service exaggerated one man for water, one for bread, one for napkins, one for menu, one for wine list - not including the maitre. The food was mixed - some dishes good, others not so good. People present loud, making their presence known to all. I am surprised that Miguel Brascó (whom... More

A friend suggested that we join him for a dinner at Sottovoce. He had been there previously on an earlier trip to Argentina, enjoyed it, and said it would likely be the best dinner we would have in Argentina. He was right. We were promptly seated shortly after 8:00 (at which point the restaurant was nearly empty - but it... More

I tried this restaurant in the Recoleta area on my last day in BA. it was not my first choice as my favorite Oviedo restaurant is not open that day (most other good one also not open due to bank holiday on 18 August). My hotel reception recommend to us (we lived 2 blocks away), and then I read good... More

i travel a lot and look for pasta everywhere. I believe i know how to rate and measure this classic dish, in his many variants. So, I believe that this restaurant, that offer fresh home-made pasta is among the best i had - and in this city, THE best!

All the restautants One common factor of the Buenos Aires restaurants is inflation, that introduces an economic fact that affects their competitiviness, as prices move upwards at a rate of 40% per annum. Sottovoce is no exception. They still maintain a high quality standard, with a menú based on italian-argentine food. Lately their prices have moved up beyond inflation, turning the... More
