We had reservations at 8 PM when it opened. We were seated immediately and I was amazed how quickly the place filled up. The service was excellent and so was the food. I had a wonderful pasta dish and my friend had a steak that was comparable to what you would get at a Ruth Christs. We had two bottles... More

Not the best place for spaghetti blognese. There was more tomato sauce than meat so it tasted tomato which I cannot eat. There are much better places for a good bolognese sauce. My husband had veal kidneys they were delicious. It is overprice for a pasta meal, same price as the veal!!!!!

My sister and her husband are here visiting me in Buenos Aires and their hotel suggested this restaurant. We made a reservation for a Saturday night 15 minutes before we arrived and were seated right away upstairs at a nice table. My brother-in-law always orders a calamari appetizer when he goes out to dinner, and he said this was the... More

Great food, good service, good wine options and desserts, nice atmosphere. That´s all we need for a nice meal. Local people and families makes you feel the real B.Aires experience. Important to say that they had a fair exchange rate. Will be back for sure.

The food was mediocre at best. We were there for a christmas Eve dinner and the menu was fixed- the salad was the best part of dinner. The staff did not speak much english and were not very responsive.

The reasaurant, on Av. Libertador (there are others of the chain) was pretentious and overrated, One waiter to bring the napkins, one the menus, one the wine menu, one to see if all was well. Too many waiters, not enough action, Gave wine order to one waiter, food to another. The cook was poorly cooked and not in the least... More

Great Italian and great service. They have really good pasta dishes and be sure not to miss the homeade ice cream. This was our best non-Steak meal in BA!

I have bee visiting Sottovoce on all visits to BA since 2015. From being a standout restaurant it is now and "also ran". The shrimp Alio Olio were bland, the veal Milanese, generous, but the salad well past its "sell by date". No longer a must visit establishment.

Our last four trips to BA have always included dinner at Sottovoce. Excellent service, atmosphere and food.

This was a meal we won't soon forget. Despite some of the grousing I've read from others about the wait, we were seated promptly and courteously upstairs in a cozy corner. I ordered the Rotolo alla Bolognese which was tasty beyond belief and we also ordered the the risotto of the day (seafood) and I've never had any better. Our... More
