Pleasant surprise!

Between the stores at Palermo Soho, we have lunched fresh salmon sided with spinach barley risotto that were delicious for a fair price. The waiting was great with a nice interior design. We strongly recommend the restaurant!!

Was pretty disappointing - I had a good visit last year but it was better than my most recent visit. A starter of fried calamari should be fresh and hot and crackling, but instead was coated in tired breadcrumbs and left too long to go soft and limp. And bruschetta and salad each with over-reliance on (I think) home dried... More

Excellent food and service. Our server was so sweet and polite. He was very attentive. The restaurant manager was also very nice. The bread was delicious. Our main course rib eye steak was delicious. The side dishes came with the steak was also tasty. Our experience in Mott was a very positive one and made our first night here in... More

Early restaurant dinners (before 8:30PM) in Buenos Aires are nearly impossible. It almost feels that we got punished by Mott for even trying. Faced with a 3:00 AM wake-up call the next morning and the need for an early dinner, we were excited to see that Mott sounded interesting AND had an all-day menu that included substantial food like a... Surprisingly a delightful taste of true Argentinian food. I had the mixed ceviche and it was to die for extremely good, the vegetarian risotto another surprising mix of tastes. The rib eye and the grilled salmon were also two great options deliciously tasteful. The staff friendly and the ambience of the place it's beautiful as a cozy lounge with great... More

First time I had a vegetarian main dish in Argentina - but it was an excellent change to the traditional Argentina cuisine The service staff was very nice and attentive - good place to have "dinner for one".

Mott is an exceptional place to dine, drink or just hangout. They have a very creative menu and visiting Mott especially in the summer is a cocktail lovers dream come true. If Chandon with Basil is ever available definitely try it. You can rarely go wrong with a meat dish anywhere in Buenos Aires, Mott is no exception.

We visited on January 1st in the early evening, and although the layout and decor are lovely, the food was mostly inedible. The Caprese salad tasted like plastic. The bread was very dry and looked like it might have been recycled for the night before. The calamari was undercooked. The Salmon was undercooked. The servers appeared to avoid eye contact... More

Earlier this evening (28 December 2014) I ordered a medium rare rib-eye steak. When it arrived it did not look like I expected but I did not complain. The first bite was a mouthful of fat and sinue which I managed to get out of my mouth and onto my side plate without attracting any undue attention. Within minutes I... More

Great decor - very smart and modern, professional staff and good food. We were served a small complimentary cocktail which we thought was a lovely start to the evening. We just had a main course each (one steak and one chicken dish) plus a bottle of one of the cheaper Malbecs and were very happy with the everything.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
