Awesome meal

This place was fabulous! My partner and I shared the steak with gorgonzola cheese and a avocado and palm heart salad and it was just delicious. Plus, they serve you little portions of rice, potatoes, salsas, bread and a corn and cheese mixture that was heavenly, all as part of the experience... read more

We had a great meal at La Cabrera, and because we went right at opening for happy hour, we got 40% off! Such a great deal. The ribeye was delicious, as was the chorizo. I also enjoyed all the different sides that came with the various steaks. Another tip: use cash -- they gave us a GREAT exchange rate for... More

The food was great, just needed a bit more space on and between tables all the dide dishes couldn't fit on the table

My friends and I visited La Cabrera 5 times in 7 days while in BA. By far the best steak I've ever eaten, as well as incredible red wine. All for a reasonable price

We went to La Cabrera in Palermo Viejo. We left this choice for our last night in Buenos Aires, because it is highly recommended. It was a bad surprise! The reception was the worst and the service terrible. We arrived early and asked for a table and although there were many tables outside, they sent us to the last one... More

I went to this restaurant with high expectation after have read good reviews and I was not disappointed at all. Service and location is very good / nice, meat in line with the Argentinian beef, tasty and well coked / presented, portions really really big (half portion of beef fillet is enough for 2 people ...). overall a restaurant I... We came here with some friends to see what the fuss was about. There was quite a long line (as we chose to come at 7pm for the happy hour special) - but we were seated fairly quickly. The steaks come out with a number of sauces - but you need to order sides separately. The portions were very large,... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
