What an experience!

We ordered the rib eye 400 grams and the waiter recommended a bottle of Septima Obra: that was a winning combination! We did not order anything else because there were a lot of small side dishes offered by the house (and we were informed by Michele K). Really: the rib eye was fantastic, the... read more

Can't believe that our Free Walking tour guy recommended this place. He said you could cut the steak with a spoon. It would have to be sharpened to the point that it could because the three of us had 3 steaks, two Ribeye's and one dry aged Strip steak. Started off pretty good with the bread and then we ordered... The dry-aged New York Strip was very flavorful, but the filet was very tender and more than enough for two! Be careful how much you order. The sides are HUGE and they bring about six or sever small sides that actually come with the steak. The atmosphere was great and the service was top-notch!

So was really looking forward to this meal and had been holding out on doing a steak meal until we went to La Cabrera, which I heard only good reviews about. The general decor walking in is very cool. They are very busy and very efficient. Overall our meal was very good. We started out with some baked cheese of... More

Great steak even better service. We ate there twice in a three week stay. We all rated this the best steak house in Buenos ?Aires. The waiter from our first visit even stopped by our table to say hello when we returned.

My boyfriend and I (Americans) ate at La Cabrera during happy hour (7PM) instead of during their normal dinner hours. It was a GREAT decision. The prices were 40% cheaper and the service was excellent. Get there about 20 minutes early because they only seat one round of guests. We had wine, french fries, caprese salad, and two different types... More

Two of us were seated for lunch--but were never served during our 15 minutes there. Although we had been a couple of times in the past, and enjoyed the food, we will never return. There are many other great places wanting our business.

From start to finish this has been the best dining experience of my life. The food the service were unbeatable. The steaks were unbelievable value and easily the best I've ever tasted around the world. I recommend the 600g Rib eye. The wine was exquisite and well chosen by our waiter who catered to our needs perfectly. It's classed as... More

Great first meal in BsAs. Came here on Friends Night, a super cool Argentinian holiday where you just celebrate friends, I guess, and make plans to hang out (more countries should do this). The irony is that I was traveling alone. Steak was good, but slightly overcooked (this happened everywhere in Argentina), and the rest of the stuff was great.... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
