Still at the top of their game

Excellent grilled food and nice wine list. Exceptional value. Order one entry and share, you don't need to order anything else and you still will need a doggy bag

"La Cabrera Sur", in Palermo, is quite famous for its steaks and pretty much recommended by travelers. Our visit last June was absolutely disappointing and quite a down in our trip to Buenos Aires. As a matter of fact, we didn't find any aspect justifying such fame. Maybe we were there just on a bad day ... "La Cabrera Sur"... More

Some of the best steak you will ever eat. Great, long list of red wine. They bring out all sorts of small extra to delight you. We loved the mash potatoes…so they brought more. Happy dining!

After hearing so much about this place, we were disappointed with our experience. The steak was good but not great, and it was quite an expensive meal. We had better in other restaurants in BA. There were many (too many) sides, in addition to what we ordered. Service was good and we were able to sit outside which was nice.

Not at all happy with dining experience. Pushy waiter, poor lighting, nothing good to say about food or waiter prompted change in wine selected. After spending $975 AR Pesos I felt robbed. Ojo was overly tough. Side dishes were large portions but did not necessarily complement the meal. There were a number of condiments, but no explanations. Third trip to... More

Best steak of Argentina so far- great side dishes and a nice atmosphere. Desserts were pricey. The wine really good. Overall great night

This is one of the city's most famous parillas (barbecues). Steak is their specialty. Their wine list is first class. Great for friends, business, dates, or (yes!) solo. Waiters know their way around the knife. Have them slice your steak for you.

After having being told about La Cabreras happy hour where everyday between 7-8 they offer 40% off, it was top of my list of restaurants to try in Buenos Aires. It did not disappoint- cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. A must for steak lovers.

The food is delicious and abundant but the waiter we had was not very kind, he seemed to be on a rush and didn't treat us very good. Anyways, we enjoyed the dinner

This is so far one of the beast meals I've ever had in a restaurant. The steak I ate was simply amazing! Definitely worth the visit and will return there as soon as possible

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
