Good food, average service

The food is delicious and abundant but the waiter we had was not very kind, he seemed to be on a rush and didn't treat us very good. Anyways, we enjoyed the dinner

This is so far one of the beast meals I've ever had in a restaurant. The steak I ate was simply amazing! Definitely worth the visit and will return there as soon as possible

We had the best steak in Buenos Aires in La Cabrera. A friend recommended it and I'm glad she did. We made reservations (necessary) and were promptly seated (don't go earlier, you won't be seated any earlier). The steak was great and the service amazing! Portions are VERY big.

Ok. Best steak in Argentina over 10+ places I had been. Service is quite good. Food is delicious and quite tasy. It's not the cheapest in town but definitely in many ways is the best. Recommend for business dinners

The steak here is gorgeous. Big portions with loads of sides that are really nice and different. It is a very busy restaurant so I advise to make a reservation. We went on a Wednesday and it was full to capacity. Waiters are lovely and helpful.

Had lunch steak here several times and have never been let down by the meat or the huge selection of addition of sauces, salads or other small dishes to go with your meat. The restaurant is nice and efficiently staffed and its always worth going here. I also like the area of Palermo.

Over a five day period in BA we tried a whole host of restaurants and La Cabrera was hands down the best. We managed to get a table on a Saturday night without a reservation or a even a 5 minute wait but don't bank on getting that lucky, I think generally a reservation is a must. The steaks here... We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and our tour guide but were disappointed. We arrived and knew we wanted fillet steak. We tried to order this, but the waiter convinced us to order something different, which we thought was just a larger fillet steak to share, but turned out not to be fillet at all. You are also... We visited La Cabrera on a Saturday night, it was quite full as expected. We finally made it to the very funky decorated room, where the service was excellent, yet the food aka steaks were very mediocre. We actually had to return our friend's three times as it was very poorly cut with tons of tendons and fat. We really... More

I am still dreaming about this steak. We had been given this place as a recommendation and they weren't wrong. Yes it was full of tourists (Americans) when we went, but the food was fantastic. Booked in advance. Had 500g of Wagyu each and its the best thing I've ever eaten!! Its more expensive than the other steaks and the... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
