Open Sundays!!!

I just arrived and I didn't realize it's their summer vacation and that people don't eat until late in the evening...9pm to 10pm. I'm usually starving by 6pm. I'm staying near by and was recommended this place. It's very good. I can't remember what I ordered other than beef kabobs with sauce, beer... read more

Absolutely overrated. Service is awfully slow (even for Argentinian standards), and waiting can't be justified. The food is good, but by the time you get it, you just don't care anymore... If you can, order to go

We returned after being away 10 years (lived here for 3 years) / and with great anticipation we returned to Sarkis. It was totally packed with a line outside for lunch on a Thursday at 2pm. We had the hummus, berenjenas, kippe crudo, the rice and the kebab. The last two were great. The others not so great. And we... More

Okay, to be honest, we had lots of great food in BA. City is just full of it :) But our dinner at Sarkis was really amazing. Started with hummus, yoghurt dip, keppe (raw minced meat) and tabouleh. Also ordered half a portion of grilled chicken and kofte. Tasted fenomenal!! Tabouleh was the best ever, so much taste. We are... More

Really lovely place. Food is awesome and cheap. This also makes the restaurant very popular. It's hard to get a reservation (not all table are open to be reserved) so you have to go there state your name to the man in the door and simply wait for a table to be free for you. They have some chairs outdoors to... Like most visitors to Buenos Aires (this is our third visit), by about day 4, it's time for something to break up the monotonous "3Ps" of Argentine cuisine (Pizza, Pasta, Parilla). Sarks stood out as a great alternative. Seeing a consistently long line outside of a restaurant is usually a good sign, and Sarkis is no exception. The service is... More

One of the best restaraunts we've visited so far. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. We had to wait about 50 minutes for a table but it was well worth it. We shared the keppa crudo and moussaka both of which were perfect. Be prepared for at least 5/6 plays of their happy birthday song throughout your meal.

Definitely one of the best restaurant in BA. We didn't have a reservation (highly suggested) so we had to wait for 45 minutes before having a table but it was definitely worth it!! The food is great, nice atmosphere and the staff super kind and willing to give you suggestions!!! Last but not least importantly it's not expensive at all... More

One of my favorite places in Buenos Aires. Food is exquisite, service is amazingly efficient and even in very busy hour you will be served in reasonable time and with the staff is always kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

I never went to this restaurant, a friend rang to take away. Be warned, they don't deliver, so you have to go get your food. I first saw this place from the outside, and theee were between 30 and 50 people waiting outside, even on a Thursday night. Yes, Thursday!!! It was the best Armenian food I've ever tasted in...
