I thought that this was going to be a truly special experience, but if you live in a city that has more than a few Middle-Eastern restaurants, then there is no need to go here if you're visiting Buenos Aires for less than a couple weeks. We had a few different cold appetizers such as hummus, tabouli, and roasted red... More

A great Armenian-Argentinian restaurant, popular with the locals, few tourists. The food is amazing and worth the (very) long queue - up to 1:30 on weekends.

The best thing about Sarkis is definitely the food. The relationship of price to quality is good too. Portion sizes are definitely big so you can share plates. We ordered hummus, babaganoush, tabouleh and a stuffed red pepper dish to share between two and it was PLENTY of food. Everything very very tasty. Just don't go there expecting an attractive... More

I was in the area for a month and kept coming back despite the long waiting line to get in but it is so worth it once inside. A lot of good courses on the menu especially my favorite which was the lamb in yogurt sauce...sooooo good. Positves-english menue and a few english speaking waiters. The prices were super reasonable... More

Sarkis is one of those places that was able to find the perfect recipe for having the room full all the time: great food + great pricing. Up until recently that was all it was, until a new item was added to the equation, horrible service. If you can bare to be talked at like if you're stupid for the... More

Looking for a restaurant that was good for vegetarians I chanced upon Sarkis. When looking to see where it was we were advised by a charming local to arrive by 7.45pm at the latest as it was very popular. Tip, definitely arrive early, it opens at 8pm. You need to make sure you put your name on the list when... More

It is worth waiting over an hour to try this Armenian restaurant. Everything here is nicely prepared and tastes delicious. But don't go expecting any fancy place. Although recently rebuilt, it is still a neighbourhood restaurant. Be aware to have cash on you, Credit and debit cards are not accepted. Be prepared to wait quite a while in line.

I came here for lunch Saturday morning right when it opened with my SO; there were only a few other tables occupied. After a few minutes browsing the spanish menu, we were offered an English menu by an English speaking server, which was a pleasant surprise. They have a lot of standard fare you'll find in North American Meditteranean /... More

Great reviews pointed me to walk for lunch from the outlets. Almost didn't want to arrive since the area didn't look nice. From across the street, the worn out red canopy was giving me an idea of the kind of place and as i could see the chairs over the table in one section i decided to hop on a... More

This restaurant serves well prepared, authentic tasting middle eastern dishes. The hummus, baba ganoush and tabouleh are excelent, just the right amount of seasonings and consistency to give it that taste that middle eastern food fans love. The portions are a good size, enough for sharing, lots of choices on the menu, perfectly cooked rice, great desserts with lots of... More
