Fabulous v2

We stumbled across this restaurant two years ago and decided to try it again. It was amazing. Every course was tasty and delicious and the steak while not traditionally prepared was one of the best I've ever had. A++

We were very happy to be able to get a reservation in the restaurant, for my husbands' birthday, and went to third there. The food was very good, they also prepared a vegetarian menu for me, but the service was astonishingly bad. Not necessarily unfriendly but, not interested in creating a comfortably environment for the guests. We choose the "mariage"... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the 5 courses prepared and served by the owner/chef of this charming restaurant. Located on the lower floor of the Chef's SoHo townhouse, the space is romantic and charming. Despite some other reviews, we found the service to be excellent. Perhaps because we are not used to the chef... More

Located in a charming house where the chef lives upstairs, the restaurant appears to have strayed form its roots as an informal gathering place for people who love food. Attention in the press globally has changed the clientele from local to tourist. That would be okay, but the chef appears to be searching for food ideas that are not Argentinian... More

Ocho Once was perfect. Gonzalo was great to deal with by email and then even better in person, not just preparing the food but talking through each course. Each course was delicious, the balance was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the Gazpacho to start. The house where you eat is also a lovely house. The staff were perfect. And the price... More

Yes, it's a good price for the quality of food BUT the service was laughably pathetic. In the time that we waited for the check, we watched the executive chef drink a whole bottle of white wine (by himself) right in front of us (while mingling with another table, which were obviously his friends). This was not late at night... More

It was great to have the chef come out as each plate was served and quickly explain it all. I know most good restaurants with tasting menus do that, but he had a real excitement explaining his food to us, and we knew he just needed to rush back to the kitchen! Wine pairings were excellent. The couple with me... More

Every 'Puertas Cerradas' location brings a different experience and this one is found in an undisclosed old house in Palermo. The address is only provided after you have secured a reservation. It feels like an intimate, small restaurant with seats throughout both inside and outside. No communal tables as with some of the other puertas cerradas and a nice option... More

We had a great experience at Ocho Once. The food was supreme, sophisticated, loved the menú. The host recomended a Synthesis Sophenia wine Malbec which was really good. We took the 5 steps menú , we enjoyed all of them. The chef explains all the courses he was really nice and the host too. It is a house situated at... More

Following a glowing report some months ago, we had family in town and since the fixed menú had changed we wanted to give it another go. Very disappointing, the new menú really did not have anything delicious nor great or anything else beyond average. The winelist remain a very weak point here, since all wines have to be organic, it... More
