Adentro Dinner Club is a closed door restaurant run by an American and an Argentine out of our home. While Gabriel has an executive chef degree from Gato Dumas culinary school, his specialty is Argentine asado- the most representative and beloved tradition in the country. The setting is intimate (8 diners plus the 2 hosts share the dining room table) and you are meant to feel at home- diners can walk through the kitchen to have a drink on the patio or terrace and watch the master at work. Everything is home-made: from the country bread to the chimichurri sauce to the passion fruit liquor served with champagne. Food is served family style- take as much or as little as you like of the empanadas, salads, ribs, chorizo, steak, corn on the cob, portobellos, grilled prawns etc. We love having guests in our home and Gabriel lets anyone who likes help prepare some of the meal and freely shares his recipes. If you are looking for a truly authentic asado and the feeling of being included as an honored guest in someone's home, we look forward to sharing an evening with you in Adentro Dinner Club.

Closed at the End of February 2015

I tried to book a dinner at Adentro Dinner Club for early March 2015, but – alas – the club closed at the end of February. However, Kelly and Gabriel sent us lists of other closed door restaurants and places they like to frequent in BA. This was a most helpful service.

This is a home based restaurant. We booked it to have the "local" experience, to see how Argentinians live. What did not meet my expectation was that the lady was American. So from the first step into the house I already did not feel like the experience was to be authentic Argentinian. The food was really outstanding - high quality,... More

Here you live the tradition of Argentine asado and you can feel like one of them, a small table to share but with good service (by the owners) and excellent food.

Kelly and Gabriel are amazing hosts. From the moment we walked in to when we finally left, we had a perfect evening. Appetizers and dinner were delicious. Gabriel can hold his own with any of the top chefs in DC (where I live). We went on a night when the menu featured seafood. Kelly made sure that we felt at... More

It was a four hour feast. We arranged for a Friday night dinner, which was seafood. It was all excellent. The courses keep coming even after we thought it was near the end. Kelly and Gabriel were the perfect hosts (and cooks). There were a total of 8 guests at our dinner, counting the four of us, and we enjoyed... More

We ate at Adentro with Kelly and Gabriel in early February 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is not really a restaurant, but is just like going to a private dinner party - a rare experience as a visitor in a large city. Kelly is a wonderful and bubbly hostess and Gabriel produced probably the best food of our entire... More

This was a fabulous evening. I attended as a solo traveler and ended up meeting people that I spent the next 2 weeks cruising with. The food was amazing - starting with the passion fruit liqueur and grilled provolone on the upper terrace....to die for. The stuffed chicken was my favourite and the grilled chocolate banana bread was an amazing... More

Kelly and Gabriel are wonderful hosts. Gabriel prepares amazing and delicious dishes, from beautiful sole ceviche and juicy and tender baby calamari to seafood-stuffed chicken and flavourful black drum with fantastic creamy purple potatoes. The chocolate banana cake was the perfect final touch to a great meal, which started with luscious passion fruit liqueur and sparkling wine on their huge... More

You must do this! Location After the cab ride from hell, (seriously - I thought we were going to crash) we arrived at the door. Unmarked, you must have the address. The street is a little dark when you arrive but it's a safe neighborhood. Food The food was wonderful. Each course (many) was presented well and had perfect serving... More

Kelly and Gabriel are terrific hosts and a great team. The food was all very good and value for money. There were ten of us all together two couples and a group of four, all 8 from the US.

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
