Please try the lamb filled pasta it was great! Off course you have to try the Italian ice cream, made really fresh every 2 days.

We ate at this restaurant because it was near to our hotel. Our meal was not great and I wouldn't be going back. I had salmon pasta and just found that it tasted very rubbery. The service was good and maybe I was unlucky in my choice but I wouldn't bother trying anything else there.

We just spent two weeks in Buenos Aires at a condo in Palermo Soho, and had dinner each night at a restaurant within easy walking distance -- which is remarkably easy to do in Palermo. I should first note up front that, if contemplating restaurant reservations in Buenos Aires, one must check out http://buenos-aires.restorando.com.ar/ This site allows for online reservations... Home made tagliarine are really worth trying. Good prices you can get a table on the outside deck beside the fountain. Really good place for a romantic dinner with a small budget.

The best Italian food we had in Buenos Aires. Try the croquettes, the portion size is huge & they are delicious - 3 different types. The pasta is all freshly made. We had ham filled ravioli & prawn linguini. Both meals were gorgeous. We only ate there once, wished we'd gone back again. The restaurant isn't typical of Palermo Soho,... More

A couple of us ate here for lunch. Charming place with pleasant background music. The lasagna was delicious and the portion just right. Felt it was pretty authentic and reasonable for the price. Would go again.

we went here twice while we were staying in Palermo Soho. The pizza is delicious and inexpensive. It's all wood fired oven, thin crust, really great.

Definitely the highlight of our BA culinary experience. Home made pasta was fresh and delicious and steak also very good. Seemed to be filled with locals and the pizza, although we didnt have it, looked a cut above the rest of the pizza we saw in other restaurants with a wood fired oven.

My wife and I tried half a dozen restaurants in Palermo during our stay and this was by far the best. First of all, the staff do not speak much English, but this didn't hinder my experience, it just proved to me that Appassionato was not some tourist destination. The food was exquisite, my wife had the scallops and I... More
