Ximena and I were strolling down a fun cobbled lane in Palermo, rich with graffiti and pop-up signs to 'Hug Here' on a sunny morning. At the end of the street, we stopped at a red-painted building to discover this charming bookstore-cafe-bar. The ambience is old-world. Floor-to-ceiling ladders to reach the top shelves. A beautiful sun room that is perfect... More

Libros del Pasaje epitomizes Buenos Aires like few other places. Located in Palermo in a historic building, this charming bookstore and café boasts high ceilings and massive wooden bookshelves showing carefully selected literature. As you walk in, you are overcome by the bohemian atmosphere. This is undoubtedly one of Buenos Aires best bookshops, but it also has to be included... More

We stumbled into Libros amid rush hour on a Tuesday morning. Heaven. Bookstore feels like an old-school library with shelves to the ceiling and ladders. There's a foreign language section including English language books. There are reading nooks on the second floor overlooking the cafe. The cafe itself is a tad pricey, but a few extra pesos for tea is... More

This is a beautiful little bookstore and café in Palemo. Sadly, we won't be going back. The waitress in the café was rude to the point that we left without purchasing anything. Too bad - this could be a great spot to spend an afternoon.

Tucked away at the back of a bookshop on Thames you'll find this gem of a cafe which does great cakes, cookies, as well as meals. Sundays can be very busy, but during the week you can relax over a good coffee, listen to the selection of unobtrusive music played by the CD shop and read, or surf the net,... More

I am happy hat TripAdvisor have agreed to add this place to their system. I really think it is a lovely place. A book store that belongs to a chain, but in this one they have at the back a French pattiserie with excellent food and next to a Cd shop. You have a patio within too where you can... More
